It's been a minute...

Hi Everyone,

Just checking in to say hello and thank you all for your patience and kindness over the last six weeks, they really have been the worst of my life.

A few days ago I held Scott's final goodbye and we celebrated him in the most beautiful way, although it honestly was the hardest day of my life, hence escaping this weekend to Tenby.

Because of this I've taken this week off and I havent replied to anything. I will be working through messages tomorrow evening and I'll be back in work Monday.

I know I've missed some things and will miss some messages, so please please message me again and nudge me.

My hours will be a bit more limited for a while as me and Harry navigate the near future, and of course the summer holidays are approaching so if you have things in mind, please book in ASAP.

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you're all ok, it's been a while...

I just wanted to take some time this morning to say hello, acknowledge things and let you all know where I'm at with work.

Firstly, I want to say thank you.

I have seen and read your messages, and although I've been prioritising my little boy and navigating each day, I have taken them in.

Most of you know I suddenly lost my Dad seven months ago and now facing the loss of two weeks ago, in the most horrific of circumstances, it has been truly awful and words can't explain how tough that's been.

I have made the decision to return to work towards the end of this coming week.

PPA has been a saviour for me at different points in my life and even though I'm still dealing with a lot, I feel I want to put myself back into that environment surrounded by my best friends I'm lucky enough to work with, and my clients who are a little community in themselves.

I'm going to be coming back on shorter hours for a little while as I still work through things, and whilst I am still dealing with certain processes and what happens next.

People with appointments over the next couple of days will be contacted tonight to let you know if they need to be rescheduled, and anyone that I've had to cancel over the last two weeks will be contacted tomorrow evening to rebook.

Anyone that DOES NOT hear from me, can assume their appointment IS going ahead as normal from this point.

I'm heartbroken to announce that as of Sunday I walked in to my house to find my little boys Daddy is no longer with us.

As some people may know Scott spent a lot of time in the recent 18 months battling awful demons and on Sunday he decided he couldn't do that any longer.

My heart is hurting with sadness and a million questions I'll never have the answers to, but most of all for our beautiful little boy.

At the moment, messages won't be replied to and I'm not sure what work will look for me in the coming weeks. As soon as I do know I'll be in touch with everyone concerned.

I ask that you please bare with me for now as I try to navigate this truly awful time with my son and family.
