Nuage de Massage

💆‍♀️ MASSAGE MYTH

“A massage has to hurt to be effective.”

Have you ever thought that if a massage isn’t painful, it’s not doing anything? It’s a common belief that the deeper and more uncomfortable a massage is, the more effective it must be.

But having given massages to hundreds of people, I can definitely say that there’s a huge range of pressure that people enjoy and find beneficial.

Some people love a gentle, relaxing touch. Others prefer a deeper pressure — and sometimes even that feeling of “good pain” when working on areas of tension.

When I perform a massage, I’m guided by you. Your body, your preferences and how the pressure feels are all important.

Sometimes gentle pressure is exactly what your body needs. Other times, deeper pressure may feel right.

Every body is different, and I’ll adjust the massage according to what you need and what feels comfortable for you.

And you should always feel comfortable telling me if you’d like more or less pressure.

🌿 A massage doesn’t have to hurt to be effective.
☁️ It just needs to be right for you.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share their experience. Your lovely words mean so much to my small business. ❤️

☁️ The story behind Nuage de Massage

As you may know, I’m French, so I wanted my business name to have a little connection to my roots. When I was thinking about a name for my massage business, I was lying on the grass, looking up at the sky and watching a few clouds drift by.
And then it came to me… Nuage de Massage — Massage Cloud. ☁️

For me, the word Nuage represents something soft, comforting and relaxing. A massage can feel like a little escape from everyday worries — a moment to switch off, breathe and simply take care of yourself. It can also bring relief when your body is feeling tense or uncomfortable. That feeling is at the heart of what I want Nuage de Massage to be:
☁️ Escape. Step away from the everyday for a little while.
☁️ Unwind. Let your body and mind slow down and relax.
☁️ Restore. Give yourself time to feel refreshed, lighter and more comfortable.

But there’s another meaning behind the cloud. ☁️
Just as a cloud moves across the sky, I can bring the massage to you. I travel to my clients’ homes, so you can enjoy your treatment in your own comfortable space, without having to travel anywhere afterwards.

So when I chose the name Nuage de Massage, I wanted it to represent more than just massage. I wanted it to capture the feeling I hope you experience — a little escape from everyday life, a chance to unwind, and time to restore yourself. 🤍

Escape. Unwind. Restore.

👋 Hello… it’s been a while! 😊

After a rather long break from posting here, I thought it was time to say hello again. ❤️

For those who don’t know me, I’m Marina, and I offer massage from my home treatment space as well as mobile massage.

I’ve been very lucky to meet so many wonderful clients over the years, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the lovely feedback and reviews I’ve received. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m going to start sharing a little more on here again — massage tips, self-care ideas, behind-the-scenes glimpses, client feedback, and occasional appointment availability or offers.

And even if you’re not local enough to have a massage with me, I hope you’ll still find some of what I share useful — whether it’s a little self-care tip, something you can try at home, or simply an insight into the world of massage. 🫶

So, if you’re still here, thank you! 🤗 And if we’ve not met yet, welcome — it’s lovely to have you here.
