There is no quick fix!!!
Results take time for many reasons:
1️⃣Collagen takes 2-3 months so on aging or scarring you won’t see any improvement for at least 3 treatments.
2️⃣Skin turnover is at least 6 weeks , this means you may not see improvement until at least the 2nd session.
What skincare are you using at home? This is as important as professional treatments in clinic.
Consistency is key, no we cannot achieve any of the results here after one or two facials.

So many lasers are out there and so much choice and when you are looking we would ask you to consider the following :
1️⃣ what type of laser is being used, a pico laser is the most sophisticated and safest to use. There are a lot of Q switch lasers which are less effective.
2️⃣ are the practitioners qualified? Manufacturers training is not sufficient as the requirement is level 5or 6 in tattoo removal.
3️⃣ what experience do they have with laser and skin complications.
We offer Pico laser which is the safest due to the way it delivers energy into the skin. This energy is photo acoustic meaning less heat is generated and waves break down the pigment . The pigment particles are extremely tiny compared with other devices allowing the body to expel them leading to quicker results.
We also use a cooling machine along side tattoo removal as it’s so important to remove the heat from the skin to allow safer recovery.

Should “how much are you?” Be the correct first question when you inquire about treatment?
Price is a factor but are you happy to compromise on safety because it’s cheaper?
Unfortunately training, quality product, regulated machines or pharmaceutical medications have a cost.
It surprises me when how many people will not move forward for treatment because of cost and the assumption is they have found something cheaper.
Example: a client did not sign up for chemical peels for their acne however after x6 months returned for help. They attended another clinic and had cheap hydra facials with no results! She wasted 6 months on non relevant treatment just because it was cheaper.
The actual cost was wasted money on treatment that did not work. Physiological frustration as her acne got worse and the further cost to rectify the skin issue.
Cost should never be the only or main question asked: but what should you ask?
What are your qualifications? Vtct, BTEC, Babtec, sparkles academy will not be sufficient!!
How long have you been delivering this service for? Longevity could give you confidence of hands on experience, not always true I’m afraid.
What machines/ products do you use? You can now research the quality of professional product or machine used.
Using the correct tools and having the expertise to match will ensure results but as importantly saftey .
Cheap usually means less experience, less credible products or compromised saftey.
So my question to you is, is a cheap treatment worth the potential long term damage??

Do we agree with home microneedling ??
No we do not for many reasons.
Micro needling may look like a quick easy thing to do however the skin can be damage so easily especially on reactive/ darker skin types.
Some micro needle devices are not adequate as they do not protect you from cross contamination as the bacteria grows in all crevices.
Some professional devices such as Skinpen have ingress protection ensuring bacteria has no contact with the device.
Cheap needles scratch and create track marks that are so difficult to correct.
Professional serums are expensive because they are sterile and safe to use on open needled skin.
Off the shelf cosmetic serums are for topical application only and not licensed to be applied to open skin. These can irritate, trigger hyperpigmentation and most importantly cause granulomas.
Microneedling is phenomenal for reducing hyperpigmentation however using the wrong needle length can trigger the melanocytes and cause pigmentation.
Cheap needles blunt very easily causing scratching and skin damage.
I have attached client case studies who have tried micro needling at home and had various skin conditions.
