Every lash artist has her own favourite way of making fans. Some work straight from the palette, and others form them with their fingers. There are around 7–10 different fan-making techniques — that’s why there’s no such thing as one perfect tweezer. The artist has to find the one that works best for her, so the fans come out flawless, form easily, don’t fall apart when placed on the lash, and make the work as fast and seamless as possible.
