Your autumn blush is served, you’re welcome.

Seriously, your new Armani Beauty Dolci blushes are giving the prettiest autumn flush.
I know I’m obsessed with blush and seem to love all the new blush releases but they are all so good lately!
If you stay right to the end of the video you’ll see my very glamorous struggle to get the lids back on. I’m still not sure what was going on there, am I the only one?

I love when a beauty brand grows with women, without making us feel as though ageing is something to fix.

That along with feeling valued was my biggest takeaway from a wonderful few hours with No7 this week. A Beauty brand listening to what women actually want from their skincare and makeup.

At 55, I want hydration, protection and glow. Products that work with my sensitive skin and help me feel like myself.

“Believe in possible” was the theme, and standing in front of the camera at 55, doing a job I love, it felt very personal.

Here’s to beauty brands that see possibility at every age. And to women who do too.

Which No7 product do you swear by?

My 40s. Where did it all go wrong?
I’d lost myself as well as my sense of style.
I had a wardrobe full of clothes but I had nothing to wear. It was full of statement items and no complete outfits that worked.

In my 50s, I started saving outfits I loved, trying things on again and working out what suited me now. It didn’t happen overnight, but getting dressed became fun again.
If you’re in a style rut then you’re not alone.
Feel free to follow along for easy style tips and do check out my 6 part Style Series which shows exactly how to find your style again.
You can find it all on my grid 🤍

What happens when you let the man behind Zelens choose your skincare routine?

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr Marko Lens for a facial using products selected specifically for my sensitive, mature skin.

What really appeals to me about Zelens is the combination of advanced science, intelligent formulas and a considered approach to supporting the skin. It aligns so beautifully with my own skincare ethos.

After the most incredible lymphatic drainage style facial massage, my skin looked calm, plump and beautifully glowing.

I’ve brought home a selection of products chosen for me, so I can properly put them to the test. Follow along and I’ll report back on the longer term results.

My AM skincare routine at 55

My skin is probably the happiest it’s been in years, and I genuinely think a big part of that has been learning that expensive skincare doesn’t necessarily mean better skin.

I follow the same simple framework every morning:

Cleanse • Hydrate • Treat • Moisturise • Protect

Then I choose what my skin needs that day. Don’t worry, I’m not using all of these products at once!

CLEANSE
Dr Sam’s Jelly Cleanser, or simply a splash of water

HYDRATE
TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner
Celimax Barrier Milk Toner
Haruharu Wonder Barrier Essence

TREAT, I choose one-
COSRX Blue Peptide Plump Glow Serum
Dr Sam’s Brightly Pro Serum
iUNIK Beta-Glucan Power Moisture Serum

MOISTURISE, I choose one-
COSRX Blue Peptide Cream
Mary & May Blackberry Intense Cream
ILLIYOON Ato Ceramide Cream

PROTECT I choose one-
Celimax Brightening Dark Spot SPF50
Institut Esthederm Sun Intolerance Photo Defence SPF50

When my skin was red and reactive, I actually stopped all actives and focused on hydration and supporting my skin barrier. Once it was happy again, I slowly introduced targeted treatments back in.

Same framework. Different products depending on what my skin needs.

Save this if your skin has become more sensitive in your 40s or 50s, and Part 2 will be my evening routine, including where I fit in retinal, tretinoin and azelaic acid.

My everyday makeup look (safe for sensitive eyes) 🫶

My dry eyes have been playing up, so I’m giving mascara and eyeliner a miss for now and letting the rest of my makeup do a little more of the work.

A glowy base, fresh, even complexion, a little extra blush and plenty of that soft, sun-kissed glow while we’re still clinging onto the last of the September sunshine.

Proof that you don’t need lots of eye makeup to feel polished.

Sometimes glowy skin, a healthy flush and a little bronzer are more than enough.

And actually, I’m rather loving it, what do you think?
