Brighton Falmer Kids Triathlon today. It was ridiculously hot with no shade on the course, well done to all who raced. We are waiting for the full results to come out so no positions or split times yet.

Junior Tri Club-Chichester Chichester Triathlon Club

Early start for the Bridge Junior Triathlon in Dartford this morning. Nate had a solid performance across all 3 disciplines for 4th place.

Trying to make the most of the weather and holidays with a trip to Fort Nelson after coaching this morning.

A few more shots from the last week - PT clients, sports day, club coaching and lots of cycling to and from the gym for me.

Sorry for the silence recently, it’s been a busy few weeks with new clients, new goals and plenty of races and events to attend.

Early alarm clock to be in Eastbourne ready to race by 7:40. Both kids did well in tough conditions in the water (altered swim due to chop with leaking goggles and wetsuit unzipping), long run up to T1 then a 2km run along the promenade with a stiff breeze and the sun coming out making it pretty hot. Pleased with 4th & 9th positions.
Definitely an early night in our house today!

triathlon

After the last 2 races being in lakes, this weekends .triathlon is, unsurprisingly in the sea.
So a quick dip to practise with tides & currents and some wetsuit removal.

A busy weekend for us.

While I coached as normal Saturday before heading for my athletics coach assessment on Sunday, (which I passed), my wife and kids were up early Sunday to drive a couple of hours to Chelmsford for the next triathlon in the series. Both raced hard and enjoyed it. Onto Eastbourne next weekend…..

At the opening of new track this afternoon with 300m and 1500m on offer.

I did my first track race and 1500m for nearly 30 years! Pleased to get under 5 minutes and not be lapped 😂
