I joined Cotswold Collective at Dumbleton Hall for a tour of the newly renovated hotel, followed by cream tea. The Hall is stunning, the scones were amazing, and I had some lovely chats with both familiar and new faces.

Welcome to September 🍂

The darker mornings are creeping back in, it’s raining, it’s definitely feeling a little chillier… and I’m wondering, where did the summer go?!

I’ll admit, getting back into the swing of things this week has taken a little adjusting. Those early mornings have felt particularly early after the summer! 😴

But it’s also been a really lovely start to September.

I’ve been to three brilliant online networking meetings this week and met some genuinely lovely people. I always come away from good networking conversations feeling energised – hearing about other people’s businesses, what they’re working on and making new connections.

There’s something about September that always feels a little bit like a fresh start. Back to routines, back to business and back to thinking about what we want to achieve before the end of the year.

So, I’m finding my rhythm again, getting back into those early mornings and looking forward to what September brings.

I see this all the time.

Individually, there's probably nothing wrong with any of them.

It's what happens between them that's usually the problem.

Information gets copied manually.

Follow-ups get forgotten.

Things are duplicated.

Your tech should reduce your workload.

Not become another job. 🩷

I've just got back from holiday and I'm definitely getting that new term, fresh notebook, let's get organised feeling.

September always feels like a bit of a fresh start for me anyway, and it's also my birthday month 🎂 So technically, it is the start of a new year for me!

I'm coming back from holiday ready to ramp things up for Q4, and I've been looking at what I want the last few months of 2026 to look like.

I've got lots happening behind the scenes at Pink Sprout, some exciting client projects underway and, for the first time in a little while, I also have space to take on a couple of new clients.

So if you've been thinking...
