📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE – OUR CANCELLATION POLICY 📢

Unfortunately, we have recently experienced a significant increase in missed appointments, so we would like to remind all clients of our cancellation policy.

We understand that life happens, and genuine emergencies can arise. However, missed appointments have a considerable impact on our business, our team and other clients who may be waiting for an appointment.

Our cancellation policy:

✂️ 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellations or changes to your appointment, except in the event of an unexpected, on-the-day emergency.

💳 Deposits: Where possible, we take a 50% deposit when appointments are booked. If an appointment is missed or cancelled outside our policy, the deposit will be retained as the cancellation fee.

📱 No deposit paid: Where a deposit has not been taken, we reserve the right to apply a 50% missed appointment fee to the payment method held on file, in accordance with our booking terms and any applicable payment authorisation requirements.

❤️ Why is this important?

When an appointment is missed without notice, that time cannot usually be offered to another client. This means lost income for our team and prevents other clients from accessing appointments they may desperately need.

We work hard to accommodate everyone, and we appreciate that unexpected situations can happen. All we ask is that you let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend.

By respecting our cancellation policy, you are helping us protect our small business, support our team and provide appointments for other clients.

✂️ THE IMPORTANCE OF A HAIRCUT ✂️

A haircut isn’t just about changing your style — regular trims are an important part of keeping your hair looking and feeling its best. 🤍

Think of your hair as an extension of your overall appearance. Just like your skin, it needs care, moisture and regular maintenance to stay healthy-looking, shiny and manageable.

✨ How often should you have a trim?

Short hair: Around every 5–6 weeks
This is mainly because shorter styles grow out quickly and need reshaping to keep their structure and style looking fresh.

Long hair: Around every 8–12 weeks
Regular trims help remove dry, damaged and split ends before they travel further up the hair shaft.

💇‍♀️ Why are regular trims important?

• Helps prevent split ends – Once a split starts, it can continue travelling further up the hair. Removing the damaged section early can help prevent further splitting.

• Helps with length retention – A trim doesn’t make your hair grow faster from the scalp. Instead, removing damaged ends can reduce breakage, helping you retain more length over time.

• Makes your hair look healthier – Removing thin, wispy and damaged ends can instantly make the hair look fuller, thicker and shinier.

• Reduces tangles and frizz – Damaged ends are much more likely to knot, tangle and frizz. Freshly trimmed ends are easier to brush and manage.

• Keeps your style looking its best – Whether you have a short cut, layers, a fringe or a specific shape, regular trims help maintain the style you love.

Remember, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all schedule. Your ideal trimming routine depends on your hair length, texture, condition and how you wear your hair.
