After some time away, I’m officially back in the clinic and taking appointments! 🤰✨

I’m definitely a little rounder these days, but I’m so excited to be getting back to some normality and doing what I love again.

I’ll be working slightly reduced hours until maternity leave, which I’m hoping will be around the end of December or beginning of January. After that, I’ll be easing back in from the end of March/beginning of April starting with one day a week and increasing my hours once little man is a bit older. 💙

Firstly, thank you for all the love, patience and support you’ve shown me. It has meant more than you’ll ever know. This year hasn’t been the easiest, navigating pregnancy alongside the loss of my beautiful grandma, who was truly like a mum to me, has been incredibly difficult.

But despite everything, my passion for Skinbay has never gone anywhere. Even when I’ve been quieter in the clinic, I’ve been working behind the scenes, investing in further training, developing new ideas and planning exciting things for the future.

Skinbay will always be my first baby. 🖤

So here’s to the next chapter…

A little personal update from me 💗

Many of you may have noticed that I’ve been a little quieter than usual recently, both on social media and in the clinic.

Sadly, I recently lost my grandma, who was incredibly special, she was a mum to me. Also trying to navigate, pregnancy & grief is something I’m really struggling with. I’ve been taking some time to be with my family and process everything that comes with such a big loss.

Skinbay is still very much here, and although I’ve been less visible online, I haven’t disappeared. Over the coming weeks I’ll be getting back into a more regular routine and bringing you lots more skin education, treatment content and updates.

I will be taking next week off following my grandma’s funeral, but my aim is to be back in clinic and responding to messages from Thursday/Friday the following week.

Thank you for your patience, kindness and continued support. As a small business, it means more than you know.

So firstly, I owe you all an explanation for how quiet I’ve been on here lately. Those of you who follow me regularly will know that’s very unlike me, and I just want to say thank you for sticking around and for the lovely messages checking in. There has been a reason, I promise!
So some of my beautiful clients already know, and honestly I cannot thank you enough for how understanding you’ve all been, it truly means everything.

I’m announcing a little earlier than I normally would, but I am expecting a new little Skinbay recruit, arriving January 2027! 🥹
The little bean is already being an absolute monkey and I won’t lie… it’s been really rough. Anyone who has been through severe pregnancy sickness will know, sickness, dizziness, exhaustion on a level I wasn’t quite prepared for. This is also why I’ve been so quiet on my socials lately honestly some days just getting through the day has been enough.
Because of this, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close my diary for the next few weeks. Some days I genuinely struggle to stand upright, and as much as it breaks my heart to step back from something I love so much, it’s what I’ve been advised to do in the short term. This decision has not been made lightly at all.
If you have an existing appointment, I will be in touch personally to reschedule - please don’t worry, you won’t be forgotten 🤍

I’m praying the second trimester is a little kinder to me 🙏 In the meantime, I’ll be using the time to develop some exciting new treatments and further my knowledge so I can come back even better than before - Skinbay isn’t going anywhere!

I’m aiming to be back towards the end of July but if I start feeling less of a zombie before then, I’ll be back sooner! I’ll keep you all updated 🤍
