Keeran Moss was buzzing with dragonflies today βͺ©ΰΌβͺ¨
This is a good sign! Dragonflies need healthy wetland habitats to breed, and the adults feed on lots of smaller insects. So when you see plenty of them buzzing about, itβs a little glimpse of a habitat thatβs supporting plenty of life. πΏππ

π³ What if the trees could tell their own stories? π€
Weβve been getting creative with the trees in Bashfordsland Wood bringing their character to life, one face at a time. π
Using clay as a base and treasures gathered from nature, we gave our trees eyes, expressions and personalities, creating little woodland faces that feel right at home among the branchesπͺ΅
We also explored weaving with fallen branches and natural materials, turning what had fallen to the forest floor into something new. πͺ΅π§Ά
All with local artist Janet Crymble, who helped us look a little closer and see the magic in the natural world around us.
