A heads-up for Sunday 4th October, the Great Cumbrian Run closes the roads through Rickerby Park from around 7am.

Access that morning is via Linstock only, just tell our marshals you’re visiting Rickerby Retreat and they’ll see you through.

Roads should be clear again by lunchtime, allow a little extra time just in case.

Call us on 01228544200 if you need directions or more information on the day.

We still have private pool hire availability this week.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are still open, up to six guests per session. The weekend’s now fully booked, so this week’s the way in if you’ve been meaning to treat yourselves. Or get booked in early for next week!

The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, entirely to yourselves, with none of the usual comings and goings. It’s the kind of hour that makes the whole retreat feel like it belongs to you.

Call us on 01228 544200 to get your slot booked in early.

The ESPA Moments of Wellness Advent Calendar is back for pre-order. ✨

Twenty-five days of ESPA’s most-loved rituals, worth £624, yours for £190, each one a small pause built into the run-up to Christmas rather than another thing to rush through.

Numbers are limited every year and a 50% deposit secures yours. Contact the spa directly to reserve one before they’re gone.

Something new has landed in the spa this month.

Brow Lamination creates fuller, more defined and perfectly groomed brows, smoothing and setting each hair into place for a naturally lifted, brushed-up finish that lasts.

The treatment includes brow shaping and tint for extra definition, so you leave with brows that need very little upkeep of your own. Pair it with a facial or spend the rest of your afternoon at the pool, it’s the kind of appointment that’s easy to build a whole visit around.

Book your treatment via our website in our bio or call us directly on 01228 544200.

Monday’s the best time to plan your weekend reset.

A little forward planning goes a long way here, warm stone, ESPA scents, an afternoon that’s entirely yours once it starts. The best slots always go first.

If Saturday or Sunday is calling, get ahead of it this week rather than leaving it to chance as we’re getting busy. Why not also make a morning of it and book a table at the bistro afterwards.
