I’m always honest about the treatments I’ve had because for me aesthetics has never been about looking “perfect” or trying to look 20 again.
I have lines under my eyes, texture and movement and I think knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing what to treat. I’d much rather keep some normal signs of ageing than over treat and lose what makes my face look like me.
Over the years I’ve had small amounts of filler for structural support, wrinkle-relaxing treatment, Profhilo, polynucleotides, skin needling, skin boosting facials and LED.
The treatments I probably rate most for skin quality are Profhilo, polynucleotides and microneedling. Used consistently, I genuinely think they’ve made a huge difference.
And, hand on heart, I actually think my skin is in a better place now at 44 than it was in my mid 20s or early 30s.
Not perfect. Not line free. Just healthy, looked after, and still very much me.
