https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30oQ2t0JPpg Fascia is our richest sensory organ. Emotionally and proprioceptively. Dr. Schleip states, The majority of myofascial pathologies are autonomically linked. Not only associated that the autonomic innervation is much richer than the proprioceptive one...That's particularly true outside of the dense fascia. That seems to be where most of the pathological interaction happens. Not only in depressive people but in even low back pain etc. It happens outside of the fascia profunda (deep fascia). That's mostly where the lymph drainage is effected. And where the autonomic nervous system also in the beneficial healing effect of your hands. So as a Rolfer I don't need to plough in. To go deeper than my colleagues. It may be sufficient to stay in the upper 2 cm.

The dorsal interossei pedis (intrinsic musculature of the foot) are stretched by adducting toes #3-4, and abducting in the tibial and fibular directions toe #2, at the metatarsophalangeal joints.
