✨ LET’S TALK HAIR TRANSFORMATIONS… ✨

Hairdressing has changed massively over the years. I still absolutely love my job, but there’s no denying that social media has made it a lot more demanding when it comes to expectations.

What I think people sometimes forget is that while you’re watching a 2-minute transformation on TikTok or Instagram, that colour correction may actually have taken 8–10 HOURS in the salon — with a hefty price tag to go with it, and rightly so! A huge amount of time, skill and product goes into creating these results.

With my appointment schedule, I very rarely have a completely empty day available to dedicate to one colour correction. So if you’re wanting to go from brunette to blonde with me, it’s usually going to be a journey rather than a one-day transformation.

And there will definitely be a few “trust the process” moments along the way! 😂

One thing I will NEVER do is compromise the condition of your hair just to get to the end result quicker. If I feel your hair can’t safely take any more bleach, we stop, reassess and decide what the best next step is. Healthy hair will always come before rushing towards a Pinterest picture.

The client in these photos started her blonde journey in May 2025. She went from having her root tint done every 4–5 weeks to now having her foils around every 8–10 weeks. It took time, patience and trust — but look at where we are now! 🥰

And blonde isn’t for everybody either. Unfortunately, some hair simply doesn’t tolerate bleach well, and sometimes we have to be realistic about what your hair can safely achieve.

So if you’re looking for a dramatic brown-to-blonde transformation completed in one day, I’m probably not the hairdresser for you — and that’s absolutely okay.

But if you’re happy to be patient, trust the process and work with me towards your end goal while keeping the condition of your hair my priority…

A wee FYI Friday...

Ive got a few clients that never know if they can bring food in or that absolutely. Ive got a microwave and a foreman grill. If your in for a while, more than happy for you to bring. I also have a few clients who phone in advance to ask if I would like anything brought in which is very thoughtful too!

I think this covers the basics but if yoir unsure about anything please just ask 🥰
