Who’s familiar with “Let’s get together soon!” then the group chat goes quiet for three weeks?! Plans get pushed to “definitely next month.”
 
Until suddenly, a Tuesday clears. Someone says “just come round, no fuss.” 
 
This is what it looks like when the date finally sticks. Making the most out of any outdoor space, sunflowers spilling out of the jug, a spritz in hand before anyone’s properly sat down. No seating plan, just good company, making an ordinary evening run long into dusk.
 
The hardest part is never the hosting. It’s getting everyone round the table. What night are you finally inviting people round?!

Some of the best tables aren’t planned months in advance. They happen because someone falls in love with a tote bag and decides to build an entire evening around it!
 
That’s exactly what happened here. Our marketing intern Alex spent her last few months with us soaking up London life, and as her time here came to a close, she wanted to capture one thing: long summer evenings that don’t want to end. The kind where the sun takes its sweet time going down, and nobody’s in a rush to go home.
 
It started with the lemon tote. One look and Alex was hooked: everything else got built around it. Old favourites, new mixes, pulled together into a table that felt urban, relaxed, and completely unfussy. Just friends, fading sunlight, and glasses clinking.
 
Alex also fell in love with the concept of a  long table turned into an art form, plonked straight in the garden. No fuss, no plan, just good people and something cold to drink. That “just turn up and enjoy each other” energy runs straight through this one.
 
You don’t need a big garden or a perfect plan for a night like this. A lemon tote, a mismatched mix of plates old and new, something bubbly, and the people who make you laugh the hardest. That’s the whole recipe. Set it up as the sun dips, and let the evening do the rest!
