Full disclaimer ‼️- I didn’t knit the waistcoat ( mum did ) but I have started to add my own embellishment’s. I started this months back on holiday with just a handful of tapestry wools. I’m hoping during the winter months ahead to keep adding the odd flower here 🌸and there 🌼. I’ve not got a set idea on the final design. I think it’ll just evolve, or maybe I’ll regret it and unpick it. But for now I’ll wear it as a ‘work in progress’ .

Busy weekend coming up with two markets lined up for us.

Saturday will find us with Naomi Evans in our local market in Bristol. Always new makers, craft and exceeding good cakes every time!

Sweetest lilac shade for this popular twinset. Hand knitted by mum using the softest Alpaca & wool yarn, we love this shape - she can’t knit them quick enough.
We’ve listed a handful of styles to our Etsy UK shop as we know so many of you can’t make our South West markets.
In general we knit to a size 12/14 ladies size as we find this is predominantly our customers size range.
We are taking on very few commissions this year as we’ve got some big events coming up ..

It’s the The Classic Car Boot Sale this weekend. Here’s a throwback to April’s one ☝🏻 I was finally lucky enough to get to. I’d been wanting to go along for ages. A pure dopamine drop of colour, fun and fashions. Met some wonderful fellow vintage enthusiasts who were there for dressing up and enjoying themselves. I can highly recommend.

Friday Blues, just started looking up.
Prompted by the wonderful stories, we’re sharing this today.

I’ve been photographing all week the heap of new hand knits from mum. It’s going to be a drip feed of what we’ve got coming I’m afraid. Editing photo’s to try and get them as close to the original colour is nigh on impossible. But I’m determined to take my time and get these pics as close as I can. Anyone got any tips?
This gorgeous alpaca yarn is aptly named ocean and it really does have a depth of colour I’ve never seen.

Tricky times ahead. That time of the year and we debate, is it cardigan weather yet?
Our natural fibre Alpaca wool fitted short sleeve is perfect for this time of year as that extra layer. We’ve even added these matching beret’s to most of our designs to complete the look. As always, these are one off’s hand knitted by mum. This deep chocolate brown is delicious.
We will be bringing this to our next market in October Naomi Evans - BS4 Makers Market. Our 3rd October market will be raising money for the Avon Wildlife Trust by way of the usual raffle. Please come along and show your support to this lovely Saturday local market.

It’s our final day South Bristol Arts Trail. Nothing beats feeling our knitwear for yourself.
This style is particularly popular. Made with pure wool, loads more beautiful colours available. Knitted by mum using an original 1930s sports jacket pattern- this would have graced the golf courses back in the day.
We think this classic design looks great for today’s style.
