This is one of our students inspecting her very first handmade Russian volume fan — and honestly, that little moment of “I actually did it!” is one of my favourite parts of teaching. 🤍

Russian volume can look intimidating when you first start, which is exactly why we go really in-depth with our fan-making training. We don’t just show you one technique and send you on your way — we break down the theory behind creating beautiful, consistent fans, including lash selection, fibre placement, pickup, opening the fan, controlling the base, symmetry, direction, adhesive control and troubleshooting when things just aren’t fanning the way you want them to.
We give you plenty of hands-on practice, close-up guidance and individual feedback so you understand not only how to make a fan, but why it works.

Because the goal isn’t just to leave with a certificate… it’s to leave feeling confident in what you’re doing. 🌿✨
