We'd Rather Lather

My husband caved and bought these scouting pads - I've put him off for months, but he was adamant one pan needed it. I tried it this morning and safe to say I won't be using another 😳😳😳

Sometimes, even 7 years into this journey, we still need a reminder - the reason we make as many plastic free / eco conscious choices as we can 💜💙❤️

Apparently there's TWO rare events today. There may be an eclipse to view later today, but before that, you'll find ME, out in the wild today, at Vale Of Glamorgan Show with Stfagansmakersmarket (in the craft fair tent)!

Come say hello and take photos while you can as it really could be a while till the next one (or in my case September 6th in Swansea 😍😂😂😂)!

The door to the workroom (my garage) is firmly shut this week as we try to keep it cool - or there's a real risk of losing all of our non soap stock 😐😬🤔😬

The melting point of some of the oils we use, is in some cases, significantly lower than temperatures this week. For example, coconut oil, used in each of the above pics (swipe to see) melts from around 25°C. So usually not a problem. But totally a current problem 😂🤦‍♀️

So on that note, soap and shampoo are being posted as normal. But body scrubs, butters and conditioner bars are being held till after the weekend. Once the temps have cooled a bit later in the week, I'll have a look to see what survived 😍😍😍
