One of the biggest mistakes I see with extensions is taking out too much weight in an attempt to create movement around the face. But here’s the thing: extensions need weight to look thick, healthy and seamless. ✂️
Over-thinning the extensions can:
• Make the ends look wispy and sparse
• Reduce the overall density through the lengths
• Make your natural hair and extensions harder to blend
• Cause the extensions to lose their fullness much quicker
• Leave you constantly needing more layers, more face framing and more texturising to create shape

Instead, we want to preserve the density of your extensions and create movement through strategic cutting and styling — not by removing bulk from everywhere. Your extensions are there to give you length AND fullness, so why would we cut away the very thing you invested in? Sometimes you don’t need another layer… you need the right styling technique. 🤎
