£100k for a laser machine. I wanted to start a business, not buy the bloody building 😂
That was my quote for the BIG BOY. If you know, you know 😉
Even the machines I’d already worked with felt out of reach. But I went for it.
£25k on my first machine. It overheated. Back it went.
£26k on a panic buy. The distributor refused to provide the certificates.
Scared sh*tless? Absolutely.
Ready to give up? Nearly.
But those experiences taught me exactly what I wanted LaserWorx by LWL to stand for: honest conversations, personal support and pricing I could stand behind.

How long are we putting this on the long finger, people? 😂 That razor is practically paying rent in your bathroom.
Less shaving, less faffing, more time for absolutely freaking nothing. Just chilling on the bleeding sofa now that hibernation season is upon us. 🙌
Picture it. You’re in your biggest Primark comfies, wrapped in a housecoat big enough to accommodate another family, and your fella slides his hand up your pyjama leg…
And you’re not there going, “DON’T TOUCH ME, I’M A FECKING BRILLO PAD.” 😂😂

I appreciate your concern. I do. But unless you’re paying my bills or my mortgage, please stop telling me to fu***ng slow down.
I’m a single mum with no family around me. I’m raising children, running a business and building our future. There’s a reason I’m this determined.
I’m working towards being able to step back because I’ve built the systems, trained the right people and passed on the ethos behind everything I do: ethical pricing, treating people properly and serving well. I want to show that you can build a successful business with a conscience.
Have I struggled? Yes. Have I broken down? More than once. I don’t wear that as a badge of honour. I’m putting support in place because I know I can’t carry everything forever.
But I keep getting back up. And I keep showing up.
I don’t know whether the comments come from concern, doubt or something else. I’m not going to guess. But please ask what would help before telling me to shrink my plans.
I’m not ready to give up on what I’m building.
