And honestly… what a year it has been. 🤍

One year ago, we walked through the doors of what had been Hirsch Hair Salon, a name that had been part of Bournemouth for more than 30 years.

We knew we weren’t simply taking over a salon. We were taking on a piece of local history.

Under new ownership by Master Class Hairdresser Ltd, Hirsch Hair Salon became Hirsch Hair Studio by MCH.

MCH is a hairdressing education company built around professional training, knowledge and developing hairdressers. So when we took on Hirsch, we saw more than just a salon.

We saw a PROJECT.

Rather than stripping everything out and spending tens of thousands making everything Instagram-perfect, we decided to learn from what was already here.

We changed the identity, improved the basics, listened to our clients, learned how the team worked and reinvested step by step.

We haven’t created the salon of our dreams… yet. 😉

But one year on, we have something even more valuable: a clearer vision of where we want to take Hirsch next.

And the best part has never just been the space.

It’s been the people. 🤍
