WHY I NOW PREDOMINANTLY CHOOSE NANO BROWS OVER MICROBLADING 🤍
After almost 10 years working in permanent makeup, my techniques, knowledge and approach to creating beautiful brows have naturally evolved.
Whilst microblading was once a huge part of my work, these days I predominantly favour machine Nano Brows, and here's why...
Nano Brows allow me to create incredibly fine, realistic hairstrokes using a single needle and a digital machine, rather than a manual blade making tiny incisions in the skin.
For me, it's all about working smarter, being kinder to the skin and thinking about how those brows will look years down the line, not just immediately after treatment.
I particularly love the precision, control and versatility that machine work gives me, especially when working with more mature or delicate skin.
That's not to say microblading doesn't have its place, but as an artist, my preference has shifted towards techniques that allow me to work with the skin as gently and predictably as possible.
Beautiful brows are one thing. Beautifully healed brows are what really matter.

A little glimpse into my first week at Evolve 🤍
New room, new uniform, familiar faces, a little bit of titivating, snacks in the cupboard (obviously 😂), breakfast stops and lots of lovely clients.
It’s definitely still sinking in that this is my new little work life, but week one is officially done ✨

10½ years of doing Sandra’s brows… and this felt like a really special one 🤍
Over the years we’ve done microblading, shading, combination brows and machine hairstrokes. But as PMU — and my own work — has evolved, we eventually decided it was time to remove the old work and start again.
After laser removal, we finally had a completely blank canvas 🙌🏼
And on my first day at Evolve, we created these beautiful new combination brows.
Sandra had become so used to pencilling and pomading her brows every morning that Nano alone would have felt a little too bare — so we added soft shading for that extra definition.
There were happy tears at the end 🥹
