This event is especially close to our hearts as we're raising money in honour of my amazing mum, Kerry, who is bravely battling breast cancer.

💗 A little favour to ask... 💗

As most of you know, my lovely mum is currently going through treatment for breast cancer. It's been such a difficult time for our family, and organising this fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now means so much to us.

I'm hoping some of my amazing friends might be able to help. If you own a business, work somewhere that might be willing to help, or know someone who does, would you please consider asking if they could donate a raffle prize?

We're looking for things like gift vouchers, experiences, beauty treatments, meals, family tickets, bottles, hampers, or any other prizes that could help us raise as much money as possible on the day. Every single donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference.

We're raising money for Breast Cancer Now, a charity that is incredibly close to our hearts as my mum is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Every penny raised will help fund life-changing research and provide vital support to people affected by breast cancer.

💖 Together, we can have fun, support a wonderful charity, and make a real difference

Hello, I hope your are all well.

We are reaching out to ask for your support with an upcoming fundraising event in aid of Breast Cancer Now, a charity that is very close to our hearts.

As some of you may already be aware, My mum has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. Following further testing, it has recently been confirmed that the cancer is genetically positive, which has helped doctors gain a better understanding of the disease and the most appropriate treatment options moving forward.

As a family, we are incredibly grateful for the research, scientific advancements, and support services that charities such as Breast Cancer Now help to fund. The vital work they do is the science behind many of these life-changing discoveries, giving hope to individuals and families facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

To help support this amazing charity, we are holding a Family Fun Day on Saturday 8th August 2026 from 1:00pm at Newtown Social Club. There will be something for everyone, including:

• Face painting
• Tombolas
• Raffles
• Games
• Cake sale
• Refreshments
• And much more!

To help make the day a success, we are looking for donations of raffle and tombola prizes. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Ideas could include chocolates, sweets, toiletries, gift sets, toys, books, vouchers, bottles, or any new and unused items.

Every donation will help us raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Now, enabling them to continue funding groundbreaking research and providing support to those affected by breast cancer.
