Your winter skin booster guide 🍁

Cold weather, central heating and lower humidity can leave skin feeling dehydrated, looking dull and appearing less radiant
But did you know that not all skin boosters work in the same way?

Some focus on hydration, others on improving skin quality, texture or elasticity. The right option depends on your skin, your concerns and the results you want to achieve

Over the next few slides, I’m breaking down some options available at Lucy’s Aesthetics to help you understand the differences

Not sure where to start? Let’s find the right approach for your skin

LUMI-PRO

For skin that needs a hydration boost

If your skin feels dehydrated, looks tired or has lost some of its glow, Lumi-Pro could be an option to consider

Lumi-Pro is a hyaluronic acid-based skin booster designed to support skin hydration and improve the appearance of skin quality

It may be worth exploring if your concerns include:

Dehydrated-looking skin
A dull or tired complexion
Skin that lacks a fresh, hydrated appearance

The aim? Skin that looks fresher, smoother and more hydrated

Your treatment plan will depend on your skin assessment and individual needs

SEVENTY HYAL 2000

For a hydration-focused skin refresh

Seventy Hyal 2000 is a hyaluronic acid-based injectable skin booster designed to improve skin hydration and support overall skin quality

It may be an option if you are concerned about:

Dehydrated-looking skin
Loss of radiance
Skin that looks less smooth or refreshed

Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water, helping to support skin hydration

The right treatment and expected results will depend on your individual skin concerns and suitability

Hydration is important all year round, but your skin may need a little extra attention during the colder months

REVS PRO 32

For a more targeted approach to skin quality

REVS PRO 32 is another injectable option to consider when exploring treatments aimed at improving skin quality

Different products have different formulations and intended uses, so choosing a treatment involves more than simply looking for the most popular name
Your skin concerns, medical history, suitability and treatment goals all matter

4 month update 🤍

I realised recently that it’s been 4 months since I returned to aesthetics after my mini maternity leave

And honestly, I shocked myself when I stopped and thought about just how much has happened in that time

I’m often very hard on myself and tend to focus on what I haven’t achieved yet, rather than stopping to recognise the progress I have made

So I thought… why not actually share it?

Scroll to see what I’ve achieved in just 4 months back in business →

In the last 90 days, my content has reached almost 50,000 accounts, with nearly 100 new people choosing to follow along for the ride

For a small local business, that genuinely means so much to me 🥹

Every view, follow, share, save and enquiry is another person discovering Lucy’s Aesthetics, and hopefully getting to know the person behind the page too

It’s easy to look at follower numbers and think you’re not growing quickly enough, but sometimes you need to zoom out and actually look at the bigger picture

4 months back, and we’re reaching more people than ever 🫶🏽

One of the things I’m most proud of over the last four months has been building my prescribing side alongside my aesthetics business

I’ve had the opportunity to connect with and prescribe for other aesthetics practitioners, and in the process I’ve found such a lovely little community within the industry

It wasn’t something I necessarily expected when I returned from maternity leave, but it’s become a part of the business that I’m really enjoying

It’s also reminded me that there’s so much more to Lucy’s Aesthetics than treating my own clients. I’m building relationships, supporting other practitioners and continuing to grow professionally too

One of the things I didn’t realise I’d miss so much was just how much I would enjoy training again

Over the last four months, I’ve invested in learning new techniques, improving my anatomy knowledge and challenging myself to keep developing as a practitioner

Saturday’s training was another reminder of why I love this industry so much

There is always something new to learn, a technique to refine or a different way of looking at a treatment

For me, continuing to learn isn’t just

“I feel like I’m sagging around my eyes and mouth.”

That was the starting point for this treatment

Rather than adding volume where it wasn’t needed, the aim was to look at the face as a whole and address the areas contributing to the overall sense of heaviness and laxity

Using carefully placed filler through the cheeks and lower face, we created subtle structural support and lift, helping to restore balance without changing her features

And this is exactly why I believe less is often more when it comes to facial aesthetics

The result? A subtle but noticeable improvement in facial support and harmony, while still looking like her

✨ Start with less. Assess. Build when needed.

Good aesthetics shouldn’t be about seeing how much filler we can use. It’s about knowing where it’s needed, how much is needed, and when to stop

I thought it might be time for a reintroduction
Hi, I’m Lucy, a Nurse, Independent Prescriber and Aesthetics Practitioner, based in South Birmingham (B31) and the face behind Lucy’s Aesthetics

My career has always been in healthcare across many settings and specialities most recently working in as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in infection and antibiotics

Alongside my NHS career, I’ve built Lucy’s Aesthetics to combine my love of anatomy, clinical knowledge and aesthetics

My personal approach to aesthetics is very much about enhancing rather than changing. I want my clients to still look and feel like themselves, just a little more refreshed, balanced and confident

I offer a number of services that keep growing, with each treatment tailored to you, rather than a one size fits all

I also provide prescribing services for aesthetics practitioners, because patient safety and responsible clinical practice are a huge part of what I believe in

And then there’s the person behind the scrubs…

I am a first time mom, currently on maternity leave from my NHS role, and building the business I’ve dreamed about whilst navigating life with a new (not so little) baby, lack of sleep and approximately 400 cups of coffee a week ☕️

There’s been a lot of change for me over the last year, both personally and professionally, and I’m really excited about where Lucy’s Aesthetics is heading

Whether you’re here for aesthetics, skincare, education or just to follow along with me building this business, I’m so grateful you’re here

So if you’re new here, welcome 🤍
And if you’ve been here a while, thankyou for continuing to support my business 🫶🏽

A little update from Lucy’s Aesthetics

Since opening Lucy’s Aesthetics, my prices have remained the same, but over that time, I’ve continued to grow, learn and invest in becoming the best practitioner I can be

I’ve invested in further training, expanded my knowledge and experience, introduced new treatments and products, and continued working on creating a clinic experience that feels personal, safe and tailored to every client

So, I felt it was time for my treatment menu to evolve too ✨

There are some exciting changes, including additional anti-wrinkle treatment options, Profhilo, improved courses for skin boosters and polynucleotides, a refreshed facial menu and a new approach to filler with personalised facial balancing packages

With these updates, some of my prices have also changed

This isn’t simply about increasing prices. It’s about making sure my menu reflects the treatments, experience and personalised approach I want to offer every single one of you

My new treatment menu and prices are now live 🤎

Thank you so much for supporting me and my little business, it means the world I’m so excited for everything still to come

Lucy x

If you had to describe me in one word, what would it be? 👀

I asked ChatGPT to describe me and honestly… it was pretty spot on

But now I want to know what you think
