Today has been so beautiful celebrating being in business for 20 years and reflecting with my clients I’m one very lucky lady to have you all in my life 💗

🌸 20 YEARS OF AT HOME WITH LOU 🌸

I cannot quite believe I am writing this, but today marks the 20th birthday of At Home with Lou. 🥹💗

20 years.🎂🍾🥂

What an incredible milestone, and one that fills me with so much gratitude.

When I started At Home with Lou all those years ago, I could never have imagined the journey it would take me on. There have been incredible highs, difficult times, moments when it would have been easier to give up, lots of learning, lots of laughter and probably a few tears along the way!Well lots x

But through it all, I kept going. 🌸

And today, I get to look back at 20 years of doing a job that I genuinely love.

But At Home with Lou has never just been about beauty treatments.

It’s been about the people. 💗

The conversations on my couch. The laughter. The tears. The friendships. Watching families grow. Being trusted with people’s stories. Seeing some of you walk through my door as customers and, somewhere along the way, become friends.

Some of you have been with me almost from the very beginning, while others have only recently discovered my little salon but every single person who has walked through my door, bought a voucher, recommended me, shared a post, booked an appointment, supported my Tropic business or simply cheered me on has played a part in this journey.🥰

At Home with Lou wouldn’t be here 20 years later without YOU.

So today, more than anything, I simply want to say…

My beautiful lotus flower has become such a special symbol for this anniversary because a lotus can grow through the mud and still rise and blossom into something beautiful. 🪷

And if these last 20 years have taught me anything, it’s this:

Follow your dreams and desires. Keep going, even when life throws challenges in your way. Believe in yourself, because you are capable of far more than you realise.
