Wedding morning at The Grand Hotel Birmingham! 🥂✨

Saturday morning I had the absolute pleasure of heading to the beautiful Grand Hotel Birmingham to create some special event hair for a very special wedding. 💒💕

I was looking after the mother and sister-in-law of one of the grooms, who had travelled all the way from South Wales for the big day! 🥰

Although I hadn’t met these lovely ladies before, we’d been messaging beforehand so I knew exactly what they were looking for — which meant we could get straight into creating their wedding guest hair and getting them feeling fabulous for the celebrations. ✨

There was plenty of chatting, laughing and excitement in the room, and it was such a lovely way to start the weekend. 🥂

And of course, it’s always a pleasure to visit the gorgeous Grand Hotel Birmingham! 😍

This is one of the things I love most about being a mobile hairdresser in Birmingham — travelling to my clients and helping them feel their absolute best for those special occasions. ❤️

From natural mid-brown ➡️ vibrant, fiery raspberry red! 🔥🍓

My lovely client hadn’t had a colour in her hair for a very long time… so today, boy, did we change that! 😍

After a few health setbacks, it was time for the “dust yourself off and bounce back” phase to begin — and I think this colour says it perfectly…

“Look out world… I’m coming for ya!” ❤️🔥

We went for a full head colour transformation, taking her natural mid-brown to this gorgeous, vibrant raspberry red. A bold colour, packed with personality and guaranteed to turn heads!

And while I absolutely LOVE creating this shade, my favourite part has to be the gloss and shine it brings to her naturally curly hair. ✨ Those curls are absolutely glowing!

Sometimes a fresh hair colour transformation is about more than just changing your hair… it’s about feeling like YOU again. ❤️

One thing I love about my job is the people. ❤️

Goodbye August 👋🏼☀️ Hello September 🍂✨

Well… what an August it’s been! 😎☀️
The weather has been sizzling, the summer vibes have been in full swing and I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet! 😂

But with just a few days left of the school summer holidays, it’s time to welcome September — and what a busy month it’s going to be! ✂️🎨

This week I’m getting started with all those post-holiday hair appointments — fresh colour, blonde refreshes, grey blending, root touch-ups, haircuts and styling to get everyone feeling ready for back to school and back to work. 💇🏼‍♀️✨

Usually, once everyone is back into their normal routine, things settle down a little… but not this September! 😂

Because I’m taking the whole of October off, September is looking VERY busy as everyone wants to get their hair sorted before I disappear! 🏝️☀️

There are still some hair appointments available in September, but they’re filling up quickly, so if you’re due a hair colour, highlights, grey blending, cut or restyle, please get in touch and book ASAP to avoid disappointment.

And November? Well… I’m already fully booked for my first two weeks back! 😱

A little Friday fun… with a touch of 💗 PINK 💗

Who says grey hair has to stay grey? 😉

My lovely client had seen a picture of someone with baby pink hair, absolutely loved it and decided she wanted to have a little pink adventure of her own! 🩷

It had been a long time since she’d had a colour, and because she’d never tried a fashion colour before, she wanted something that would be noticeable and fun — but not a huge commitment.

So we got together for a colour consultation, looked at different shades of pink and chatted through the options of demi-permanent colour, semi-permanent colour and toners.

We decided a soft dusty pink toner was the perfect place to start. ✨

And just look at the result! 😍🩷

It’s definitely PINK, but it’s soft, subtle and definitely not too in-your-face!

I especially love how the pink has created a subtle colour change over the darker grey areas, while really coming to life over those gorgeous silver/white pieces. It gives the natural multi-tonal grey hair a whole new dimension. 🩷

And the best bit? We both absolutely loved it! 🙌

Sometimes you don't need to completely change your hair to have a bit of fun with colour. A toner can be a brilliant way to experiment with a new shade without making a huge commitment.
