Head2foot offers complementary therapies in South Birmingham: Reflexology; Thai Foot Massage; Hopi E Elaine Mead
Introduction .....
I have been a complementary therapist for 9 years now, starting with Reflexology and Thai Foot Massage - very similar but at the same time very different therapies - and in the intervening years I have attended many additional reflexology courses to boost my skills in specific areas, such as reflexology during pregnancy, reflexology for babies and a Hypnoreflexology seminar with
Dr Peter Mackereth - which led me to a full Hypnotherapy course at the Christie hospital in Manchester. A pain management course then led to my interest in Nerve Reflexology and I am now in the process of taking the Nerve Reflexology diploma course with Nico Pauly of MNT-NR, and already having success with the elements I have learned so far. I have also completed the Facial Reflexology course with the inspirational Ziggie Bergman and will be taking the ZoneFaceLift course in March next year, I'm expecting that to take 10 years off the way I look in the same way the gym has taken 14 years of my metabolic age!! Along the way, at the request of my mum I took a course in Hopi Ear Candles and also rekindled my interest in Reiki. It sometimes seems like a strange mish mash of things - as if I have no real direction, but in every instance there has been something drawing me towards these therapies and now they are often blended together to help clients in the most effective way - and I would love to do a full diploma in Nutrition but accept that at the moment I have enough on the go and will have to satisfy myself with the home study that I do.
