The world of fertility medicine can be baffling. And for Muslims, it carries the extra layer of what is permissible in the Deen.
But with clarity and the right information, navigating through it comes easier.

Have you had any experience with fertility clinics?
One of the most common questions I get.
“Should I be concerned!”
“When should I be worried?”
Left to me, you should enjoy your marriage 😉 without worrying. But if you must, at least make sure you have fulfilled these 3 criteria…
Any thoughts on how these might be difficult for Muslim women in particular?

For many Muslim women in particular, it can come with several layers
Societal expectation, familial pressure, religious misunderstanding, and social isolation, to mention a few…
This isn’t about generalising experiences.
It’s about recognising patterns, and SRHEd with Dr Muti’ah we feel strongly about creating space to talk about experiences that are unique to us- as Muslim women
Because no one can support what you refuse to acknowledge.

If Netflix decides to call up our founder for the much needed documentary on the need for s*xual and reproductive health education in Muslim communities, y’all know she’s going to be seated outside…
😁
When I work with women who have fertility challenges, it’s always a personal prerogative for me that you understand that none of this is your fault.
Particularly if you’re Muslim, we find comfort in Qadr and practice tawakkul - Allaah is in control of all that exists.
