When you run your own business, sometimes the staff meeting is just you, yourself and your laptop. Planning, organising, creating content, replying to messages, sorting stock, booking clients and trying to remember the 47 things you were supposed to do today.

THE MYTHS OF RUNNING AN AESTHETICS BUSINESS.
Let’s talk about the side of aesthetics that nobody really prepares you for.
The reality is, not every business owner has a PA, a marketing team or someone managing things behind the scenes.
Sometimes you’re EVERYTHING. The practitioner, cleaner, accountant, receptionist, content creator, stock controller and the person trying to work out where the next booking is coming from.
I’ve seen so many talented practitioners invest thousands into training, yet struggle to build a sustainable business.
Why? Because learning a treatment and learning how to RUN a business are two completely different things.
Your business won’t grow just because you opened one. You have to work at it, push it, market it, understand your numbers and show up even when things are quiet.
And please stop comparing your chapter two to someone else’s chapter twenty. You have absolutely no idea what goes on behind their scenes.
Being a great practitioner is one thing. Becoming a successful business owner is another.
