My ‘job’ is so much more than just ‘adding a bit of filler’

It’s the consultation before the treatment.
The conversations.
The listening.
Understanding what someone actually wants and sometimes, what they don’t.

It’s knowing when to say no, when to say not yet, and when doing less is actually doing more.

It’s understanding facial anatomy, proportions, balance and how every little change can affect the face as a whole.

But beyond the technical side, it’s the people 🥰

It’s the person who has been feeling self conscious for years and finally feels a little more confident.
The person who wants to look less tired, not completely different.
The person who’s nervous and trusts me enough to put their face in my hands.
The person who walks out feeling like themselves just a little more like the version of themselves they wanted to see.

There’s responsibility in that trust.

So no, I’m not just ‘adding a bit of filler’.

I’m constantly learning, assessing, planning, managing expectations, prioritising safety and trying to create results that are subtle, considered and individual to the person sitting in front of me.

And honestly, that’s what I love about what I do.

Because aesthetics isn’t about changing someone into somebody else.

For me, it’s about enhancing what’s already there while making sure the person, their features and their individuality are always at the heart of it. 💋
