Today's episode of trying to get my life together before moving to America… 😂🇬🇧✈️🇺🇸

Started the day attempting my grand return to the gym! 💪

Except I was apparently the ONLY person in the gym who was FREEZING! 🥶🤣 Refused to take my jacket off… because clearly that's what happens when you haven't worked out properly in ages!

Battled the weights, survived an hour and YES… the jacket eventually came off! 😂🙌

Back home and straight into the American life admin role…

🇺🇸 US job applications have officially BEGUN!
📞 Another call to the bank about moving our money across the Atlantic!

And THEN… the parcel I'd been waiting for arrived! 📦😍

My packing "boxes" whatever you wanna call them arrived for moving to America…

EXCEPT WHAT IN THE TEMU TAT HAVE I ORDERED?! 🤣🤣

I ordered collapsible moving boxes.... apparently I've received something suitable for a weekend's laundry! 💀

At this rate we're moving to Florida with one pair of socks at a time! 😂🇺🇸

But hey… another day, another few steps closer to our new life! 🥹❤️

PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one who's ordered something online and received THIS level of disappointment?! 🤣👇

Meanwhile, we're back in England working a SECOND full-time job called MOVING TO AMERICA! 🤣

📞 Bank of America calls… AGAIN!
💳 Trying to get our cards sorted and start building US credit
💷 Setting up international money transfers
📑 Sorting out US taxes and paperwork
🏡 House hunting from 4,000 miles away!

And that's before we've even started packing up our lives! 📦😂

But honestly? Every phone call, every form and every little thing ticked off the never-ending list brings us one step closer. 🥹❤️

The admin is REAL… but so is the DREAM! 🇺🇸✨

And little by little, that dream is becoming our reality. ❤️

We've laughed, stressed, fallen in love with houses we don't own, mentally furnished rooms we don't have and somehow managed to squeeze about six months of life admin into a few days! 😂🏡

And the boys? Just casually checking out what's going to be their whole new world. 🥹❤️

It's exciting, terrifying, overwhelming and absolutely EVERYTHING all at once.

Now we're heading back to England… except this time it feels different.

Because for the first time, I'm realising that "home" isn't necessarily a place.

It's not the house we've lived in, the postcode we've known or even the country we were born in.

Home is us. The four of us. Wherever life takes us. ❤️🌎

So back to England we go today… to pack up one chapter and get ready to start another. 📦🇬🇧✈️🇺🇸

Such a small thing, but somehow another one of those moments that makes this all feel VERY real. 🥹
