I haven’t done the full works on this hair for well over two years, and look at it!

This is exactly why I LOVE low-maintenance colour, especially for my mum clients. You don’t need to be in the salon every 6–8 weeks to have beautiful, lived-in colour that still feels fresh and looks bloody good.

It’s all about creating colour that works with your lifestyle, not colour that has you constantly chasing your roots.

Right, I thought it was probably time I reintroduced myself…

I’m Christina, mum to Fin, 16, Maddie, 14 and partner to Sid — we’ve been together for 19 years!

I’ve been a hairdresser for 20 years now, which honestly feels a little crazy to say out loud 😂 And although I love all things hair, colour has always been my thing.

I bloody love colour. Blondes, brunettes, grey blending, colour corrections, big transformations and those subtle changes that make you feel like the best version of yourself.

After 12 years working in a salon, I took the plunge in 2018 and opened my own home salon. I had no idea then how much that decision would change my career and create Christina Faye Hair.

There have been A LOT of chapters since then. Some exciting, some challenging and some that definitely tested me, but every chapter has taught me something and helped shape the business I have today.

These days you’ll find me at Victoria Wiltshire Hair in Barnstaple, where I rent my chair and get to do what I love in a lovely one-to-one environment.

I’ve also become a bit obsessed with education along the way 😂 I’m always learning, trying new techniques, investing in my colour knowledge and working with Eleven Australia. I genuinely don’t think you ever stop learning in this industry.

And outside of hair? I’m just Christina. Mum, partner, daughter, friend, gardener when I get the chance and probably overthinking absolutely everything 😂

Christina Faye Hair has changed a LOT over the years, and I’m sure it will continue to evolve, but one thing hasn’t changed…

She had a little maintenance appointment with me 5 months ago, but it had been a whole 9 months since she’d had the full works — so we had plenty to do!
