Women spend far too much time being told what they’re not - and believing it!
Not young enough.
Not thin enough.
Not quiet enough.
Not attractive enough.
Not successful enough.
Not calm enough.
Not easy enough to handle.
Bo****ks.
What if we stopped obsessing over what we’re supposedly missing and started celebrating what we actually are?
Because women are fu***ng fabulous.
We rebuild ourselves after heartbreak.
We carry whole families, friendships, grief, hormones, trauma, jobs, invisible admin and everyone’s bloody birthdays.
We change direction.
We age.
We heal.
We laugh at things that should have finished us.
We become stronger, wiser, funnier and far harder to bu****it.
And the best bit?
We don’t need to be perfect to be powerful.
We don’t need to be acceptable to be worthy.
We don’t need to be chosen to be valuable.
The Fu***ng Fabulous Female Club is about remembering who the f**k we are.
Not what we lack.
Not what society tells us to fix.
Not what some random man, ex, friend, troll, magazine or mirror once made us believe.
Who we are.
And who we are is bloody brilliant.

Some of life lately - Cyprus with the brother from another mother and Burlesque with mum and my bestie.
I'm very blessed, and thank the Universe for allowing me to make such wonderful memories ❤️

This one feels emotional because it’s not really a love letter to cancer.
Cancer can get f**ked.
It’s a love letter to the woman I became because life forced me to meet myself properly.
The woman who had to stop running from fear.
The woman who had to look at her body after surgery and learn how to stand in front of herself again.
The woman who had to rebuild confidence from somewhere much deeper than appearance.
The woman who had to face old trauma, grief, uncertainty, treatment, scars, change and still decide:
I am going to live.
Not just exist.
Not just survive.
Live.
And I think that’s the bit people don’t always understand.
You can hate what happened to you and still be grateful for who you became.
You can wish life had been gentler and still be proud of how you’ve handled it.
You can carry fear and still choose joy.
You can have a body that looks different, a life that looks different, a future that feels uncertain, and still say:
This is mine.
I’m here.
I’m living it.
And I’m fu***ng proud of myself.

Getting older is not the problem.
The problem is being taught that women are supposed to spend the rest of their lives trying to look like a younger version of themselves.
F**k that.
I don’t want to look 25 again.
I want younger women to look at me and think:
“I cannot wait to feel that free.”
That’s the goal.
Not shrinking.
Not hiding.
Not apologising for ageing.
Not pretending confidence has an expiry date.
I want to show women that midlife can be bold, fun, loud, messy, sexy, brave and full of life.
Because growing older is a privilege.
And I refuse to waste it criticising every wrinkle, scar, grey hair, body change or life chapter that got me here.
This stage of life deserves to be lived properly.
Red lipstick on.
Scars out.
Friends around me.
Laughing loudly.
Taking up space.
Make getting older look like something worth looking forward to.

There is something very freeing about reaching the point where you stop trying to be digestible for everyone else.
For years, I thought confidence meant becoming more acceptable.
Smaller.
Quieter.
Easier to like.
Less opinionated.
Less emotional.
Less visible.
Less me.
Absolute bo****ks.
Confidence is not about sanding yourself down until nobody has anything to say.
Because people will always have something to say.
Too loud.
Too much.
Too confident.
Too honest.
Too different.
Too happy for someone who has been through what you’ve been through.
Let them.
At some point, you have to decide whether you’re going to live as yourself, or spend your whole life auditioning for the approval of people who probably need to mind their own bloody business.
I choose myself.
The scars.
The mouth.
The humour.
The opinions.
The purpose.
The joy.
The whole lot.
Because the most confident version of you is not the one everyone approves of.
It’s the one you stopped apologising for.

Sometimes life absolutely floors you.
The relationship ends.
The diagnosis comes.
The job changes.
The kids grow up.
Your body changes.
Your confidence disappears.
You look around and think, “How the f**k did I end up here?”
And then, somewhere in the middle of the mess, life hands you a chance to rebuild.
Not a pretty, polished, Pinterest version of rebuilding.
The real kind.
The kind where you cry, doubt yourself, get scared, take tiny steps, make mistakes, change your mind, find yourself again and slowly become someone you’re actually proud of.
But when that moment comes, you cannot half-arse it.
You cannot keep one foot in the life that drains you and one foot in the life you say you want.
You have to choose yourself properly.
Your 30s, 40s and 50s are not too late.
They might be the exact years you finally stop living for everyone else and start building a life that actually feels like yours.
Keep going, my darling.

Losing parts of your body does something to you.
It changes more than your reflection.
It changes how you stand in front of yourself.
And rebuilding that relationship is not as simple as saying, “love your body” and cracking on.
Sometimes you grieve.
Sometimes you feel disconnected.
Sometimes you feel angry.
Sometimes you feel relieved.
Sometimes you feel proud.
Sometimes all of it happens in the same bloody week.
That is why body confidence after surgery, illness or huge change has to be deeper than appearance.
It cannot just be about liking what you see in the mirror.
It has to be about respect.
Respect for what your body has carried you through.
Respect for what it still allows you to do.
Respect for the choices you make because they feel right for you, not because they make other people more comfortable.
Going flat was right for me.
Not because everyone would understand it.
Not because it fitted some perfect idea of femininity.
But because it helped me feel like myself again.
And that matters.
Your body does not have to look how the world expects for you to stand in it with pride.
You do not have to apologise for scars, flatness, softness, change, age, treatment, survival or choosing what feels right for you.
This body is mine.
And I’m fu***ng proud of it.
