NATURAL MAKEUP MYTHS 👀

✨“Natural makeup means barely any makeup.”
Natural makeup can still mean foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow and lashes. It’s not necessarily about using less, it’s about how and where you use it.

✨ “You can’t have coverage and still look natural.”
You absolutely can. Coverage where you need it, lighter layers where you don’t. Skin should still look like skin.

✨ “Lashes make it full glam.”
Not at all. The right lash can softly lift and define the eye without taking over the look.

✨ “Natural makeup won’t photograph well.”
It will when there’s enough dimension. Subtle bronzing, blush and definition make a huge difference without looking heavy.

✨ “Natural makeup is the easy option.”
This one always makes me smile 😂 Making a full face of makeup look almost effortless is all about the little things.. texture, placement, tones and blending.

Natural doesn't mean nothing there.
It means looking at yourself and still seeing YOU, just a little more polished✨

Feeling like yourself doesn’t always mean natural ✨

This was her first ever time having a full face professionally done, and although she’d never sat in my chair before, she already knew what she liked. I wasn’t going to take that away from her just to make the makeup fit a certain trend.

Instead, we elevated what she already loves. We kept her signature strong brow and full coverage base but added more warmth and dimension through the skin, and created a bronzy-gold glam eye with a smoked-out wing to balance the whole look🤎

Because my version of making you “still look like you” doesn’t automatically mean soft, barely-there makeup.

Sometimes you are fluffy brows and fresh skin.
Sometimes you are a full beat and a bold brow.
Neither is more beautiful than the other.

My job is to work out what makes you feel your best, then use my knowledge and style to bring it all together.

Natural glam, soft shadow with light shimmer✨

She was actually my 3rd ever client on my very first day doing makeup professionally… and all these years later I swear I know her face better than my own 😂

One thing that’s never changed,she LOVES a full glam. Smoky eyes, glitter, full coverage, the lotttt 🤌🏼✨

There’s something so lovely about having clients who have been in my chair since literally day one 🥹

And obviously… we had to go GLAM glam 🖤

Let’s talk EYE-MAXING 👀

Basically… making the most of the eyes. Whether that's bigger, brighter, more intense colour..

Eye shape, lid space, eye colour, brow placement, they all change where I place shadow, how far I take it out, where I add depth and even where I put the brightest shimmer.

On this look I used a cooler toned ch*****ne colour to really bring out the blue😊✨

LIGHTWEIGHT SOFT GLAM ✨

She doesn’t wear makeup day-to-day, so the brief was pretty simple, she wanted to feel properly glam for her night out, without feeling like she had a heavy face of makeup on.

Because lightweight doesn’t have to mean barely there 👀

She already had her brows and lashes done, so I worked around those and focused on the skin — keeping the base lightweight and comfortable, adding coverage only where it was needed, then bringing everything together with bronzer, blush, soft definition around the eyes and a glossy n**e lip.

You can still have polished skin, colour, definition and a proper GLAM result without layering on loads of foundation 😂

I think sometimes people hear “lightweight” and assume it means super natural, when really it’s all about how the products are applied and where you actually need them.

And THIS skin is exactly why I love that approach 🤌🏼✨

Lightweight skin. Still glam. Still enough to feel like you’ve actually had your makeup done.

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself on here… so hiiii 👋🏼

I’m Nadine, I’m 27, a wife, mum of two girls and the face behind Beauty Chaos 💄

A few things worth knowing about me…
✨ I’ve been obsessed with makeup for as long as I can remember.

I’ve survived MANY makeup phases!
including my alternative era..
Turns out all those years perfecting dramatic winged liner were actually career training.🫣🤣

💄 I’m a proper makeup nerd. I want to know why your foundation isn’t lasting, what actually works for your skin and whether that viral £50 product is genuinely any better than the £10 one.

🎨 I LOVE the variety. Barely-there makeup, full glam, brides, mums, colour, smoky eyes… no two faces are the same, and that’s exactly how I like it.

🤍 Despite the name Beauty Chaos, your appointment shouldn’t feel chaotic. Come knowing exactly what you want or with absolutely no clue, we’ll figure it out together.

🏆 Somewhere along the way, my makeup obsession turned into an actual career… and even won me North Wales Bridal MUA of the Year. Still can’t quite believe that one!

But genuinely, my clients are the best bit...
The familiar names I get excited to see in my diary. The brides who trust me with such a huge morning. And the new faces who sit down and say, “my friend told me I HAD to book you.” 🥹

Every booking, recommendation, review, share and person who comes back again is what keeps Beauty Chaos growing and lets me keep doing something I genuinely love.
