SCULPTRA RESULTS… AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING! 🤯🤎

I almost didn’t post these photographs…

Why? Because the before and after pictures were taken at slightly different angles, and my client’s head is slightly raised from the bed in the before photographs.

But I couldn’t NOT share them because I wanted to show you just how incredible this treatment can be! 😍

Look at the difference in the lower face, particularly around the jawline, where you can see an apparent improvement in structure, contour and definition.

And here’s the exciting part…

These photographs were taken STRAIGHT AFTER HER FIRST SCULPTRA TREATMENT!

Now, it’s important to understand that the immediate changes you see are largely due to the Sculptra mix being injected. The real magic of Sculptra is what happens over the following weeks and months as it stimulates your body’s natural collagen production.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sculptra works gradually to help restore skin structure, improve firmness and support natural-looking facial rejuvenation.

✨ A course of 3 treatments is commonly recommended for optimal results, although every treatment plan is tailored to the individual.

And I cannot wait to see how this client’s results develop over the coming months!

SAME GIRL. 2.5 YEARS APART… but a very different approach to aesthetics. 🤍

Looking at these two photos side by side actually shocked me a little 😅

On the left, I was blonde, had heavier upper eyelids and years of filler in my cheeks, jawline and chin. Over time, filler can attract and retain water, and in my case I felt my face had started to look puffy, heavier and much squarer than my natural face shape.

And this is exactly why I believe more filler isn’t always the answer.

Fast forward 2.5 years…

I dissolved the old filler and allowed my natural facial structure to come back. Since then, I’ve only added small, strategic amounts where I felt I’d lost volume, treated my tear troughs and full-face tox.

I also had an upper eyelid blepharoplasty last year and looking back at these photos, I don’t think I realised just how much of a difference it made to my eyes! 👀

The biggest difference for me isn’t that I’ve stopped having treatments, it’s that I’ve changed the way I use them.

Less about changing the shape of my face.
More about restoring, refreshing and working with what I naturally have.

My face looks softer, less square and, most importantly, more like me.

This is the direction aesthetics is moving in, “filler blindness” is a real thing 😅

can you see the difference? 😅 please tell me which look do you prefer? I’m intrigued 😂

And yes… The brunette is staying 🤎

A little behind the scenes 🤍

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about what I want the next chapter of Miss Carter Aesthetics to look like.

I feel like my approach has changed so much. I’m much more interested in the whole picture now 🤍 skin quality, facial balance, subtle enhancements and treatments that actually make sense for the individual.

My next chapter is going to have a much bigger focus on skin health ✨ further developing my knowledge of the skin, understanding different skin concerns and learning how to treat them effectively rather than simply masking them.

From pigmentation, ageing and texture to dehydration, dullness and compromised skin, I want to be able to look at the skin as a whole and create individual treatment plans that combine professional treatments with the right home care.

Because looking fresher and feeling more confident doesn’t always mean changing your features.

Sometimes it’s clearer, healthier, brighter skin.
Sometimes it’s restoring what time has taken away.
Sometimes it’s a subtle enhancement.
And sometimes it’s learning how to look after the skin you already have.

I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on further education and some exciting plans for Miss Carter Aesthetics.🤍

NOT MY WORK ❌🙅🏽‍♀️

NEW POLICY PLEASE READ 👇🏽

PREVIOUS LIP FILLER

I need to address something that is becoming more and more common, particularly at my Dumfries clinic.

I’m seeing an increasing number of clients booking appointments for more lip filler when there is already significant existing filler, migration, lumps and distortion present.

In these cases, I have no choice but to refuse further filler and recommend dissolving and starting again.

This can be a very uncomfortable conversation to have with someone who doesn’t want to hear it, and can often leave me feeling very deflated 😞

This wastes your appointment, your journey and my clinic time, so from now on I need to make my policy very clear:

I will no longer add lip filler to new clients who have existing filler placed by another practitioner.

This applies even if your filler was done several years ago. Dermal filler can remain present for much longer than people realise, filler becomes saturated and it prevents me from achieving the best results I can get working with what I have.

If you would like to start your lip filler journey with me and have had filler elsewhere previously, please do not book directly for further filler. Contact me first so we can discuss the appropriate next step.

I know this policy may seem strict, but my priority will always be the quality of my work and the result I create for you.

I will NOT keep adding filler because somebody is willing to pay for it.

If I don’t believe adding more product will give you a result I’m happy to put my name to, I won’t do it.

That is my work ethic, and it isn’t something I’m willing to compromise on. 🤍

A little life lately, straight from my camera roll 🫶🏼

There’s a whole life behind the work you see on here 🥰

Isn’t it a bit sad that simply posting a picture of your work isn’t enough for social media anymore?

You can spend years perfecting your craft, create beautiful results… but apparently that’s not enough.

Nope. Now we must dance, point at floating text, lip sync to trending sounds and take on the role of a performing monkey just to get the algorithm’s attention 🐒😂

So today I’m rebelling.

No dancing.
No pointing.
No trending audio.

Just a really nice set of lips that deserve to be on the grid. 💋

Remember when that was enough? 🥴🤍
