UK National Award Winning HBA - Best Home Beauty Salon 2025

Here at Nailed That! We have so much to offer and we are not just talking about the decor!

09/10/2026

He was some one that talked a lot (remind you of anyone)

He always had a story to tell

Or a vodka to put in someone’s hand...

But most of all he was one of a kind…selfless and always there to help out.

He was polish down to the core and he was a fighter…
even down to his last moments with us.

Dad was there for me and supported me through everything...

And

I feel lost…….

Lost for words
Lost with sadness
And Lost as a daughter

There is no bond like the one between a daughter and her father…

I have lost my best friend.

One that me and my family will continue to make proud.

We will celebrate his life in the best way possible.

And we ask anyone that knew him to do the same.

Life isn’t easy, it can take a tough path, but I will fight the dark corners and I will stand tall just like he would want me too.

We will be celebrating Dad on -

Tuesday 20th October
10:30am

St Michael’s & All Angels
Aston Clinton

All who knew him and want to celebrate him with us are welcome💗

Please note that on this day the salon will be closed.
Any appointments will be rescheduled to the earliest convenience.

I myself will be taking a little time to be with my family and will return to work as soon as I am ready.

At this time please bear with us.
Lorna will be holding the fort, she will be carrying out my services and will respond to all messages .xx.

I will always be forever grateful for the recognition Nailed That! has received. 🖤

Every finalist certificate.
Every nomination.
Every award.
Every moment somebody within this incredible industry has looked at what we've created and said…

“This deserves to be recognised.”

It will NEVER be something I take for granted.

Because behind every certificate is so much more than a salon.

It's the late nights.

The risks.

The moments I've doubted myself.

The ideas that started as scribbles in my head and somehow became reality.

The incredible clients who trusted me from the very beginning.

And now, the amazing team helping me build something even bigger than I originally imagined.

When I first started Nailed That!, I wasn't chasing awards.

I simply wanted to create somewhere people genuinely loved coming to.

A salon where you could walk through the door, completely be yourself, have a laugh, have a cry, switch off from the outside world and leave feeling that little bit better than when you arrived.

So to have Nailed That! recognised within the beauty industry for exactly what we've worked so hard to create means more than I can ever really put into words.

These certificates aren't just pieces of paper to me.

They're little reminders to stop, look around and think…

Bloody hell. Look how far we've come.

And we're nowhere near finished yet.

Forever proud.

Forever grateful.

And forever thankful to every single person who continues to support this little salon and the dream behind it.

✨ BEYOND THE BEAUTY – Episode 14 ✨

Learning to Let Go of People

One of the hardest things I've had to learn is that sometimes…

you can love someone and still need to let them go.

Not because they're necessarily a bad person.

Not because there has to be a huge argument, betrayal or dramatic ending.

But simply because sometimes…

we outgrow people.

As we change, heal and understand ourselves better, we can start to recognise when certain relationships no longer feel right for us.

And that can be incredibly difficult to accept.

Especially when you're someone who cares deeply.

You remember the good times.

You question whether you're doing the right thing.

You worry about hurting someone.

And sometimes, you hold on far longer than you probably should because letting go feels harder than staying.

I've learned that not everybody who comes into our lives is meant to stay there forever.

Some people are part of a chapter.

Some teach us something.

Some walk beside us for years.

And some relationships simply change as we do.

That doesn't mean the memories weren't real.

It doesn't mean you don't care.

And it doesn't mean you have to hate someone in order to walk away.

Sometimes protecting your peace means accepting that a relationship no longer belongs in the life you're trying to build.

And that's okay.

You are allowed to choose relationships where you feel safe.

Where you feel respected.

Where the effort goes both ways.

Where you can be yourself without constantly questioning where you stand.

Letting go can hurt.

But holding onto something that continually drains you can hurt too.

Sometimes letting go isn't giving up…

It's choosing yourself.

If you've ever had to make the difficult decision to let someone go, or you're learning that it's okay to outgrow certain relationships…

Comment SEEN if this resonated with you.

Remember...

Beauty is what you see. Wellbeing is how you feel.

✨ BEYOND THE BEAUTY – Episode 13 ✨

Why We Struggle to Slow Down

Why is it that when we're exhausted, overwhelmed and desperately need a break…

We still find it so difficult to stop?

I think for so many of us, being busy has almost become part of who we are.

We're always doing something.

Working.
Parenting.
Cleaning.
Planning.
Helping.
Remembering.
Organising.
Looking after everyone else.

And when we finally get a moment where there's nothing we have to do…

We feel guilty.

We start thinking about everything we could be doing instead.

"I should really put some washing on."

"I could answer those emails."

"I need to get that sorted."

"I can't just sit here doing nothing."

Sound familiar?

I know it does for me.

For a long time, I think I connected being productive with being successful.

If I was busy, I was achieving.

If I was achieving, I was doing well.

And if I stopped?

Somehow, it felt like I was falling behind.

But something I've had to learn is that my worth isn't measured by how productive I am.

And neither is yours.

You don't have to earn the right to sit down.

You don't have to finish every job before you're allowed to rest.

You don't have to wait until you're completely exhausted before listening to what your mind and body are asking for.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do…

Is absolutely nothing.

Put the phone down.

Leave the washing.

Ignore the to-do list for an hour.

Make the coffee while it's still hot and actually SIT DOWN to drink it.

Because slowing down isn't lazy.

It isn't selfish.

And it certainly doesn't mean you're falling behind.

Sometimes…

Slowing down is exactly what you need to keep going. 💚

If you're someone who finds it almost impossible to switch off without feeling guilty…

Comment SEEN below.
