Somewhere between school runs, hospital shifts as a theatre and recovery nurse, clinic days, assignments and mum life, I chose to go back to university and work towards becoming a nurse prescriber, not because life was quiet or perfectly timed, but because I knew I owed it to myself to try.
I’m a married, busy mum of four building a career in aesthetics, and there were plenty of moments I wondered if I could carry it all. The truth is, I was never doing it alone. My husband, my family, the cheerleaders quietly in the background, and the friends, old and new I met along the way made this journey feel a little lighter.
A gentle reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Sometimes you just take the next step… and keep going
