A little word for Mother’s Day.

For many, today will be full of love, laughter, flowers and family.
And that is a beautiful thing.

But Mother’s Day is not one-size-fits-all.
For some, it can feel tender, complicated, heavy, or quietly painful.
It can bring joy, gratitude, longing, loss, distance, or a mix of many things at once.

So while we celebrate the love that motherhood can hold, let’s also be mindful that not everyone is experiencing today in the same way.

A little softness, a little awareness, and a little kindness go a long way.
