40 years in hairdressing, and yesterday I experienced one of the biggest game-changers our industry has seen — right up there with the invention of the hair dryer.

I attended an immersive colour education day with YUV, a new indicative colour system, and I can confidently say this is the most science-backed, forward-thinking colour technology I have ever worked with.

The science behind the system was clearly and expertly explained by Julienne Lim, breaking down complex concepts in a way that felt empowering, not overwhelming.
The day was seamlessly run by and , with exceptional, real-world hair demonstrations from — thoughtful, precise, and truly inspiring.

This wasn’t just a colour course.
