Her highlights had been lightened by the sun and the toner had completely faded, so she came in looking a wee bit brassy and washed out.
She left with fresh highlights and a new tint and honestly the difference was fab 👌🏼
If your colour is starting to look a bit dull or the toner has gone, it might be time to freshen it up.

“The summer I decided to finally go blonde.”☀️
Because when someone comes to me wanting to go blonde but worried about their hair, the first thing I say is, let’s just talk about where your hair is at right now. What’s been on it, how it’s feeling, what you’re hoping for.
Sometimes we can go straight in. Sometimes we do a strand test first so I can actually show you what your hair will do before we commit to anything. Sometimes we plan it in stages so your hair stays in good condition the whole way through.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, and that’s kind of the point. Going blonde doesn’t have to mean choosing between the colour you want and hair you’re happy with.
If you’ve been putting it off because you’re not sure what your hair can handle, just DM me, we can have a proper chat before you book anything 💌 x
No more grey or brassy hair.
My client wanted to “wiggle” her hair to show it off so you better like it or else 👊🏼 xox

The questions I ask before I mix a single drop of colour for a blonding appointment.
I know it might seem like a lot before we’ve even started, but every single one of these shapes what I actually do with your hair. Two clients can want the same blonde and end up with completely different colour, because their hair history, their lifestyle, their skin tone are all different.
That’s why I need to know all of this first.

Same client, different toner, and what a difference it makes.
She usually goes for a creamy, warm blonde but this time she fancied going back to how she used to have it. More ashy, whiter, cooler.
She loved it.
If you’ve been thinking about switching things up with your toner, it’s such an easy way to completely change the feel of your colour.

When someone asks for hair up but says ‘keep it casual’, that’s actually one of the trickier ones.
Because casual doesn’t just happen. The messy bits that look effortless? They’re placed. The pieces that fall around the face? Chosen. The texture that makes it look like you’ve not tried too hard? That takes work to get it right.
So when a client comes in and says casual, I’m thinking about the outfit, the event, whether they want it off their neck all night, whether they suit anything near the face.

I’m loving buttery, creamy blondes with a bit of depth through the root, softer, lived-in placements that grow out beautifully so you’re not stressing about it six weeks later.
If your blonde has been feeling a bit flat or brassy and you’ve been thinking about freshening it up, DM me to book your appointment 💌 x

Some clients come back for a full blonding appointment when all they actually need is a toner.
The highlights are still good, the colour is still there, it’s just the toner that’s faded and made everything look a bit yellow and dull. A toner freshens it all back up without the need to redo the whole thing.
So if your blonde feels brassy or flat but your last appointment wasn’t that long ago, it might just be a toner that sorts it, and that’s a much quicker (and shorter) appointment.
Not sure which one you need? Just DM me and we can figure it out together before you book.
