This week I had the pleasure of supervising Abi as she carried out her very first nail care visit independently.

There’s always a little bit of nervousness that comes with doing something for the first time, but Abi approached the visit with such care, patience and professionalism.

And then I looked over at our service user…

She’d fallen asleep. 🥹💤

Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better sign that Abi was doing a wonderful job. To be relaxed enough to drift off while someone is caring for your feet is probably one of the biggest compliments a nail care professional can receive.

Watching our team develop new skills and grow in confidence is one of the things I love most about what we do.

Rather than recruiting from elsewhere, we believe in investing in our own people, giving them opportunities to learn new skills, develop professionally and progress their careers 💛

Abi will now be joining us at Clip With Care, helping us to meet the growing demand for our services while developing her skills and experience even further.
