And for Leanne, there was another part of the story.

Years of yo-yo dieting, followed by significant weight loss while using GLP-1 medication, also meant changes in facial volume became more noticeable.

The medication hasn’t “aged her face” that’s an important distinction. But when we lose a significant amount of weight, particularly after repeated cycles of weight loss and regain, we can see changes in facial fat, volume and skin laxity too.

That’s why Leanne’s plan was never going to be “just add filler.”

We’ve looked at the face and her skin, using collagen stimulation, small amounts of carefully placed filler, toxin, skin boosters, peels and consistent AlumierMD home skincare over time.

My client already had lovely full lips, but they were lacking in colour and definition, especially around the cupids bow area 💋 once healed these will tone down to a more muted pinky brown shade, with more concentrated colour around the edges so that we really focus on that newly created shape ❤️

Q. What is the main worry I hear time and time again from my brow clients?

As you can clearly see here, my client looks a million miles away from ridiculous, she looks absolutely beaming. What is ombré?
This is not a full colour Lipblush, this is a technique where a darker or brighter colour is placed along the outer edges, and then blended in towards a lighter colour in the middle.

Who is it suitable for?
Ombré blush is best suited for those with fuller lips, either naturally or enhanced with a little filler. The lips do not need to be very big, but need to have some surface area to allow for a seamless blend, otherwise on a skinny lip we can risk it looking like a lipliner effect.

How does it look when healed?
Beautifully perfected shape, plumper appearance and depending on the colours we chose, it can either look quite striking and effective, or very natural and subtle!
