#modshair #FashionForward #modshairsurfer Founded in 1968, 'mod's hair' has 250 salons across 17+ countries. In the 1960s, the Berard brothers pioneered a fusion of fashion and hairdressing, introducing the concept of studio hairdressers. This innovative approach garnered significant success, leading to the rebranding of their venture as 'mod's hair.' Over the years, the brand has collaborated with renowned names in French fashion and expanded its presence globally. In 1974, the first mod's hair salon opened in Paris, marking the beginning of its widespread popularity. Today, the brand continues to offer franchising opportunities, aiming to replicate its success among French women. In 2015, Alain Viot, former CEO of Cartier USA, assumed leadership, propelling 'mod's hair' to new heights alongside Laurent Batas, further solidifying its reputation as a beacon of French avant-gardism worldwide.

Look 1: Gabriella
Neo-Mullet inspired by two highly sought-after models, this cut is a revisited
neo-mullet, 2026 version. the shape has been changed and modernized. the back is refined
and the hair is worked to achieve a fairly lightweight texture. the fringe, full and fairly long,
frames the face with a soft, instinctive movement. its color is awakened by a glossing by
mod’s hair to add mirror-like reflects that catch the light and intensify the texture effect. it is
offered in two versions: longer or shorter.

Back to the seventies.
Back to 1968, when the mod’s hair brand was born and began to grow: from studio work for
fashion magazines to the opening of the first mod’s hair salon on the paris left bank in 1974.
It was the start of a beautiful story that we now carry into the future.
For this new season, the artistic team has created a neo-rock collection, closely connected
to today’s demands and representative of mod’s hair stylists’ expertise.
The hairstyles are deliberately deconstructed. special attention has been given to fringes,
which receive particular care.
The techniques are very soft, for a highly natural result.
The choice of looks and photos favors the attitudes we love today, evoking the sleeve of a
vinyl record from the era.
The styling revives the codes of that time, with an iconic, very chic wardrobe.
Back to the essence: A return to core values, refreshed for the new autumn/winter 2026/27
collection.
