Cyclamen hederifolium LIFY® after the heatwave in Roubaix! ☀️🌿

Our LIFY® plants in the beautiful Parc Barbieux came through this summer's heatwave in great shape.

Why LIFY® handles extreme weather so well:

• Natural summer dormancy: the tuber rests through heat and drought, then comes back in autumn
• Excellent cold tolerance (-15°C / 5°F)
• Naturalizes effortlessly and self-seeds
• Low maintenance, ideal for public parks and sustainable landscaping

🌱 Looking for a perennial that can handle both scorching summers and cold winters?
Our team is ready to share cultivation tips and tailored support!

A few shots of our LIFY® Hederifolium botanical cyclamen, grown in 10.5 cm pots and potted on in week 24 at our partner grower Damoplantes. 🪴

In Brittany's mild climate, the plants are flourishing beautifully: compact habit, richly marbled foliage and impressive crop uniformity. 🌸

LIFY® once again proves its appeal for garden centres and botanical plant lovers alike a natural, elegant range that's easy to grow.

A great crop spotted in China 🇨🇳

Decades of breeding experience in hot conditions have positioned our HALIOS® genetics as the worldwide leading serie for large-flowers cyclamen.

🌱 Sown in week 51
🪴 Grown in 14 cm pots
🌸 Extra floriferous, great volume and intense red color

A very encouraging result under local growing conditions, highlighting the potential of Morel genetics for heat resistance.

Our cyclamen are now settled on seed-bearing plants, and there are plenty of them this year! This stage marks the beginning of meticulous work: each selected plant carries the potential of the future varieties you'll find in our collections.

As soon as the first flowers appear, our teams will begin manual pollination, flower by flower, cross by cross. A precise and patient gesture, passed down through more than a century of expertise, ensuring the genetic quality of every seed harvested.

This is where, behind the scenes in our greenhouses, tomorrow's cyclamen are born 🤩🌱

A beautiful garden setting for LIFY® Cyclamen hederifolium. 🤩

At Castle Gardens in Arcen, the Netherlands, LIFY® has been planted in carefully selected shaded areas throughout the gardens. 🇳🇱🌳

We are always happy to see our varieties leave the greenhouse and become part of a real garden. Here, LIFY® feels completely at home, adding fresh colour and a natural touch to shaded corners of this beautiful place.

If you are nearby this autumn, take the time to visit Castle Gardens in Arcen. The gardens remain open until 1 November, and there is still plenty to enjoy at this time of year.

A big thank you to the Castle Gardens in Arcen team for welcoming our genetics into their gardens, and to Patio Plants for growing the plants with such care. 🌱
