I became a mother at 44. For many years, I wasn’t sure I wanted to become one.
I’m Diana, the woman behind Womb Visions.
For a long time, my attention was on my education, career, entrepreneurial projects and spiritual exploration. Motherhood was a question in the background. Slowly, my “no” became “maybe”—and then I began wondering whether I had waited too long.
Ciprian and I tried to conceive for three years without success. An unexpected ectopic pregnancy brought loss and uncertainty. It also brought a clarity I hadn’t had before: I truly wanted to become a mother.
At 44, I conceived Angelina without IVF. On 28 October 2024, she arrived exactly on her due date.
That is my experience. Every woman’s path has its own circumstances, uncertainties and outcomes.
My years of studying nutrition, exploring spirituality and working with women became part of how I approached motherhood. Pregnancy, birth and postpartum gave those interests a deeply personal meaning.
Womb Visions grew from that meeting of knowledge and lived experience: care for the whole woman—her practical needs, her inner life, her choices and her changing identity.
I share more of that path in Before the Miracle, my memoir and reflective guide on the journey to motherhood after 40.
If you’d like to read the story behind Womb Visions, find Before the Miracle through the website link in my bio.
With care,
Diana

Your needs belong in the motherhood story, too.
Welcome to Womb Visions—a place for practical preparation and reflection, from considering or trying to conceive through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and continuing motherhood.
I’m Diana, the creator of Womb Visions and a first-time mother at 44. My own experience shaped a question that runs through everything I create: how do we make room for the woman’s needs, voice and inner life through all this change?
Here you’ll find resources to help you put birth preferences into words, plan for care after birth, and make space for your feelings through guided reflection, journaling and story.
A special welcome if you’re approaching motherhood at 35+, especially after 40. You’re also welcome here if your timing or path looks different.
Begin with what you need today.

When I became a mother for the first time at 44, I expected my life to change.
I did not expect to change so deeply too.
I found endless guidance about caring for a baby—but far less language for what was happening inside the woman I was becoming.
Womb Visions grew from that absence.
This is a space for the whole woman inside motherhood: her identity, body, emotions, relationships, time and sense of meaning.
Not every woman experiences motherhood as a complete transformation. But every woman deserves to remain visible within it.
If you want honest, whole-woman conversations about motherhood—especially the paths that begin later—follow Womb Visions. You belong here.
A mother can love her child deeply and still need space to hear herself.
Both can be true.
Motherhood can bring profound love and gratitude—and, at the same time, overwhelm, loneliness and difficulty hearing your own inner voice.
Needing space does not mean loving your child less. It means that the woman inside motherhood needs care and recognition too.
Has motherhood ever made it harder for you to hear yourself?

I had 44 years to know myself before I became a mother.
And still, after birth, I met a version of myself I did not fully know how to care for.
I did not disappear completely.
I was still me.
But I was overwhelmed.
Responsible in a way I had never been responsible before.
Needed in a way I had never been needed before.
Alert in a way my body had never had to be before.
And as the primary caregiver, even the small spaces that opened were quickly filled.
Cook this.
Prepare that.
Finish this.
Use the time well.
This is one of the reasons I created Womb Visions.
Because a mother can love her child deeply and still need somewhere her own inner world is not pushed aside.
Womb Visions is not here to give mothers more to perform.
It is here to offer emotional self-care for the woman being changed through preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
If your inner world feels full, begin gently through the Start Here page or with The Emotional Reset.

Today, Womb Visions opens.
Two years ago, I was preparing for the birth of my daughter.
One year ago, Womb Visions was only an idea.
And today, it becomes a real place women can enter.
This is not only the opening of a shop.
It is the opening of a woman-centered motherhood space for emotional self-care through preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Womb Visions was born from my own transformation after becoming a mother at 44.
Motherhood changed me in ways I could not fully prepare for.
Not only practically.
Emotionally.
Physically.
Creatively.
As a woman.
And somewhere inside that change, I began to understand something clearly:
Motherhood is not only about raising a child.
It is also about the woman who is being changed through motherhood.
The first Womb Visions digital resources are now available:
Before the Miracle — memoir and reflective guide
Womb Visions Emotional Self-Care Journey — a guided 21-day emotional self-care journey
Womb Visions Emotional Self-Care Journal — a private reflective space for daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal self-connection
This is a different kind of birth.
And it is dedicated to the women walking toward motherhood, through motherhood, and back to themselves.

Womb Visions opens on 23 August.
This is not only the opening of a shop.
It is the opening of a woman-centered motherhood space for the emotional life that so often stays unseen.
For the woman wondering if motherhood is still ahead of her.
For the woman pregnant and carrying gratitude, fear, body change, and responsibility.
For the woman postpartum, while the world may look first at the baby.
For the woman mothering with love, while still needing a place where her own inner world is not pushed aside.
Womb Visions begins with emotional self-care.
Not as another thing to perform.
Not as pressure to feel positive.
Not as a promise to fix everything you carry.
But as a gentle way to stay connected to yourself inside the change.
The first Womb Visions resources open this Sunday.
Start gently through the link in bio.
You may not need to understand everything.
You may need one small place to begin.
The Emotional Reset was created for moments when your inner world feels full, but another demanding routine would be too much.
You may be in preconception.
Pregnant.
Postpartum.
Mothering later in life.
Or somewhere in between.
The season may change.
But the need can be similar:
one place to pause,
one moment to notice what you are carrying,
one gentle return to yourself.
The Emotional Reset is not therapy, medical care, or a promise to fix what you feel.
It is reflective support.
A small beginning.
A way to enter Womb Visions without pressure.
