I’m Ted, the founder of Raer. This is Denys. This is Olivia. And this is Baron.

It’s been a difficult weekend here in Berlin.

We celebrated Pride, then woke up to the horrific news of the attack. What followed online—the cheering, the dehumanisation, and the attempt to coopt an act of violence to justify racism—was devastating to watch.

I’m a q***r man. We’re all from migrant backgrounds. Even Baron here. These aren’t abstract ideas to us.

Raer has always been built on the belief that people matter. We pay our growers fairly. We talk openly about how climate change is affecting the plants we work with. We make difficult decisions because some things matter more than business.

So here’s where we stand.

We’re against hatred. Against homophobia, transphobia, racism, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, the AfD and every other attempt to divide people or strip them of their humanity.

If that doesn’t sit well with you, don’t buy our fu***ng perfumes. They’re not for you.

And if it does, we thank you.

We’ll keep making beautiful scents and trying to leave the world a little nicer than we found it.

Because we all deserve better than this.
