As an oculoplastic surgeon, I start by distinguishing visible vessels, pigmentation, skin quality and volume changes. The cause determines the approach.

For this patient, we combined Candela Nordlys® vascular and pigment treatments with exosomes and polynucleotides.

The visible difference? Less prominent vascular shadows, a more even tone and a fresher looking eye area.

Periocular rejuvenation is not about doing more. It is about treating precisely what matters.

For this patient we used a multimodal protocol combining Candela Nordlys® IPL, NAFL 1550 nm and 1940 nm, followed by microneedling with exosomes and tranexamic acid.

The aim was to address different components of the skin at the same time.

IPL targeted diffuse redness and visible vascular changes.

1550 nm and 1940 nm NAFL worked on texture, photodamage and dermal remodeling.

Exosomes and tranexamic acid were added to support recovery, improve skin quality and further address uneven tone.

What I see in the after photos is not simply less redness.

The complexion is calmer and more uniform, vascular intensity is reduced, texture is smoother and the entire face looks healthier and more luminous.

The skin analysis images make the vascular improvement even easier to appreciate and allow us to objectively follow changes that standard photography may underestimate.

This is exactly why I believe in multimodal treatment.

This one is quite personal for me. I’ve been a Candela KOL for seven years, and in many ways I feel that I’ve grown professionally together with my Candela family.
