In the Sound Bank from our EarthSonic Sounds Archive we have the tropical screech owl. This owl is a small species in the family Strigidae, found in Colombia and every mainland South American country. It gets its name from its rather demonic alarm call, which you can hear on our Cucusonic Sound Bank, and at the start of the Cucusonic album track ‘Forestronic’ by Martyn Ware!
