Want the results without a 40-hour practice week? The eternal fitness question is how to keep your body in shape when you're caught in the grind.

Most people think it's all-or-nothing: either a grueling 1-hour daily routine or nothing at all. But true stagnation is what leads to injury, and you don’t need an endless schedule to maintain your foundation.

In this video, we break down a quick, effective daily maintenance routine—featuring a special guest assistant—to help you open up tight shoulders, prep your joints, and keep your body feeling strong when life gets busy.

Drop a comment: Which of these moves are you adding to your week? Don't forget to like and subscribe for more daily mobility tips!

Struggling to touch your toes? 🧘‍♀️
Did you know that mastering this basic forward fold is actually the secret foundation to unlocking elite, advanced movements—like floating effortlessly into a press handstand?
It all comes down to sports science. When you open up your hamstrings and hips, you compress your center of gravity, taking the brute strength out of balancing on your hands so you can lift with pure control.

🚀 COMING SOON:
Stay tuned for my upcoming series, Yoga for Stiff Bodies! We are going to dive deep into the exact biomechanics you need to melt away lower back tightness, transition out of pain, and work your way from stiff joints to easily placing your whole hand flat on the ground.

Five years into my travels, the world felt vast but lonely. I needed something to ground me, and that’s when Jacko came into my life. From a rescue pup to a world-traveling partner, he has been my constant through every transition.

My heart for animals has always been a defining part of who I am—I’ve always felt like a mother to them. My journey has been filled with so many souls who needed a helping hand: there was Shayla, another precious rescue who remains a cherished part of my family with my brother.

During my travels, I met Lola, whom I was able to rescue and bring back to Canada to find her forever home. And then there was Lucky, a beautiful soul I found chained to a fence, suffering from neglect and skin issues. Though I couldn’t bring him to Canada, I ensured he received the medical care he deserved and worked with his family to change his circumstances for the better.

Jacko, Shayla, Lola, and Lucky—they are the heartbeat of my travels. This video is a tribute to the rescue spirit and the profound, silent language of trust we share.

Stop crunching your lower back to find depth in your bridge or wheel pose! 🛑

I used to be exactly where you are right now. I wasn’t born naturally flexible, and I didn’t pay for fancy athletic training or expensive physical therapy to unlock my spine. I just showed up to my mat, used basic props, and stayed consistent.

Inside my brand-new “Journey to Flexibility” Masterclass, I’m going to show you exactly how to replicate my results safely. Here is what we will achieve together:
Release Stiff Shoulders: Unlock a tight upper back using targeted wall and block routines.

Protect Your Lower Back: Learn the exact muscular engagements needed to eliminate painful pinching.

Build Real Height: Create a spacious, beautiful wheel pose built on rock-solid anatomical blueprints.

If I can completely rebuild my alignment from scratch, you can too. Let’s unroll our mats and transform your practice today! ✨

I wasn’t born flexible. This class is the result of years of dedication, showing the exact blueprint I used to move from struggle to strength.

This routine didn’t just change my body; it changed my life. I poured my heart and soul into this, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

I’m forever grateful to my teacher, Kru Yod at Shakti Yoga Hua Hin, for his wisdom and for showing me the foundation of this practice. It’s easy in this industry to take knowledge and move on, but I believe in honoring your roots—I carry his teachings with me in every pose.

In this class, we’ll work through:
- The progression to a deep, supported bridge.
- Building the strength to hold the pose with ease.
- The exact flow that helped me unlock my backbending potential.

Meeting a Mamo in the Andes: Why they’re NOT Shamans 🇨🇴

🌞• Mamo = "Sun": The name means "spiritual sun," reflecting their role as the community's light.

🏔️Decades of Training: They train for up to 18 years—often in total darkness—to learn to "see" with their spirit.

🍃• Scholars of Nature: They are not ritualists in a trance; they are judges and scholars who protect the Earth’s balance.

🏺🥢• The Poporo Library: The Poporo isn't just a tool; it’s a physical record where they "write" their prayers and wisdom.

🌿 The Sacred Exchange 🌿
The Mamos walk these mountains in pure white, carrying their life in hand-woven bags called Mochilas. When they meet, they don’t just greet—they exchange handfuls of Hayo (coca leaf) from their sacks as a way of sharing breath and intention. Beside them, they carry the Poporo, a sacred gourd used to transform the leaf into a meditative tool. Every layer of lime they rub onto the Poporo’s rim is a physical record of a thought or a prayer. For them, every step on the mountain is a conversation with the Earth, and every encounter is an opportunity to build community.

🍃 It’s a powerful irony: the Hayo (coca leaf), which is used by the Mamos for global healing and high-level energy work, has been destructively misunderstood by the rest of the world as the source of co***ne. In their hands, it is medicine; in ours, it has been a source of division.

📖In 2018, I put my phone away to truly absorb a world society rarely sees. I spent the night with the Mamos, the spiritual leaders who serve as the “Elder Brothers” of humanity. To become a Mamo, one must spend years in a cave, meditating and living primarily off the Hayo (coca leaf)—a medicinal plant they view as a teacher of survival and harmony.

I don’t have photos of that night—I was too busy being present—but these shots capture the climb. Sometimes you have to leave the noise behind to finally hear the truth.

Why Thai is the most relaxed language on Earth. 🇹🇭

They say Thai is the hardest language to learn. I say it’s the most honest.

3 years in the Land of Smiles taught me more than just grammar—it taught me how to flow. Thai people don’t waste energy on extra words, and they don’t waste energy on stress. I’ve never felt more “at home” than when I was learning how to speak, breathe, and be.

In Thai, there’s no “I am hungry”—just “hungry.” No “Yes, I want”—just “want.” Their language is as relaxed as the “Land of Smiles” itself. It taught me that sometimes, the most profound way to live is to simply strip away the unnecessary.

เคยอยู่ที่ไทยสามปี... ความทรงจำที่ไม่มีวันลืม. (I lived in Thailand for 3 years)

You take a flat sheet, cut two holes, and connect them with a tube... that’s a wormhole.” — Michio Kaku 🎙️

In physics, a wormhole manipulates space-time so that an astronaut could enter one end and emerge to see themselves entering for the first time.

In my practice, the Bridge from Standing is that loop.
🌀🧬
My feet are Point A. My hands are Point B.
Usually, they are worlds apart. But when I “grease the gears” of my hips and unzip the “posterior chain” of my shoulders, I am folding space-time within my own body.

How we build the loop:
🧱 The Tube (The Wall): We use the wall to bridge the gap. It’s the mechanical shortcut that teaches the nervous system how to survive the fold.

🏋️‍♀️ Manipulating the Loop (Yogi Weightlifting): This is where the physics gets real. To bridge without the wall, you need structural integrity. Your core and quads have to be strong enough to hold the “tube” open so the spine doesn’t collapse.

👁️ The Observation: Just like Kaku’s astronaut, there is a moment in a deep bridge where your perspective flips. You are looking at the world from the “other side” of the loop.

You aren’t just stretching. You are remapping your internal biology to handle higher levels of “force” and “flow.”

Grease the gears. Open the pools. Fold the space. 🌊✨
