You won’t need acetone. You won’t be scraping at anything. You won’t lose twenty minutes of your evening to it either. You just warm a little almond oil around the edges, give it a minute, and lift it gently🫧
There’s one thing we’d ask you not to do, and that’s peel. Peeling lifts a layer of your natural nail with it, whereas oil lifts nothing but the wrap 🚫

“Are mesme nail wraps kinder to your natural nails?” 🤍 We get asked this a lot.
There’s no nail product we’d call magic, but there are some genuine differences in how mesme wraps are applied, removed and formulated compared with many gel, acrylic and extension systems.
💅 No heavy filing or roughing up your natural nail.
Our wraps are applied directly to the nail — no need to file down the nail plate first.
💧 No acetone soak to remove them.
Our wraps can be gently removed with almond oil (nourishing for your nails!). Never peel. Always oil.
🤍 HEMA-free.
HEMA is a well-known allergen associated with reactions to some gel and acrylic nail products.
🌿 BPA-free.
BPA is a chemical associated with hormonal and reproductive concerns. We don't use it in our wraps.
☀️ TPO-free.
TPO is now prohibited in EU cosmetic products, and our wraps contain none.
🌱 Vegan.
No animal-derived ingredients. No animal testing.
For us, kinder to nails means keeping application and removal gentle and leaving out ingredients we don't need. Beautiful nails. Less fuss for the natural ones underneath. 💅

Kein Nagelprodukt ist magisch – aber bei mesme gibt es ein paar echte Unterschiede in der Anwendung, Entfernung und Formulierung im Vergleich zu vielen Gel-, Acryl- und Extension-Systemen.
💅 Kein starkes Anrauen oder Feilen des Naturnagels.
Unsere Wraps werden direkt auf den Nagel aufgetragen – die Nagelplatte muss vorher nicht dünn gefeilt werden.
💧 Kein Acetonbad zum Entfernen.
Unsere Wraps lassen sich sanft mit Mandelöl ablösen – und das pflegt gleichzeitig Nagel und Nagelhaut. Nie abziehen. Immer mit Öl entfernen.
🤍 HEMA-frei.
HEMA ist ein bekanntes Allergen, das mit Reaktionen auf bestimmte Gel- und Acrylprodukte in Verbindung gebracht wird.

What does wellbeing actually look like for you? 🌿
On 24 September, we’re bringing together three different perspectives on wellbeing for an intimate evening at mesme HQ in Zürich.
🤍 Monica Otten, founder of , will share the story and philosophy behind her natural Swiss skincare brand and its connection to physical and emotional wellbeing.
🌳 Ramune Bauer will guide us through a Tree of Wellbeing workshop using the NeuroGraphica method — a structured drawing technique that helps you explore what gives you energy, balance and joy, what might be missing right now, and what you’d like more of in your life.
💜 And mesme brings the space, community and our own belief that small moments of self-care, creativity and connection matter.

Hi, I’m Marianne 👋
I am the Founder of mesme and I haven’t worn Shellac or gel on my nails in over two years.
And for the first time in many years since switching from gel to wraps, my nails are strong actually grow – I have to cut them now 😂
People ask me all the time why I love nail wraps, so here’s why:
⏱️ They’re so easy to apply. You don’t need any experience and in around 15 minutes you’re done. No drying time, no smudging and no chipping.
✈️ You can literally do them anywhere. I’ve done mine on the tram, on a plane, in an Uber… wherever I happen to be!

Ich bin die Gründerin von mesme und habe seit über zwei Jahren weder Shellac noch Gel auf meinen Nägeln getragen.
Seit ich von Gel auf Nail Wraps umgestiegen bin, sind meine Nägel zum ersten Mal seit Jahren wieder richtig kräftig und wachsen tatsächlich – ich muss sie inzwischen sogar schneiden 😂
Ich werde ständig gefragt, warum ich Nail Wraps so liebe. Also, hier sind meine Gründe:
⏱️ Sie sind super einfach anzubringen. Du brauchst keine Erfahrung und bist in etwa 15 Minuten fertig. Keine Trockenzeit, kein Verschmieren und kein Absplittern direkt danach.
✈️ Du kannst deine Nails wirklich überall machen. Ich habe meine schon im Tram, im Flugzeug, im Uber gemacht … einfach dort, wo ich gerade bin.
🤍 Sie lassen sich ganz einfach wieder entfernen. Ein paar Minuten, etwas Öl – und sie sind ab. Für meine Naturnägel fühlt sich das viel schonender an.

Drei Systeme. Ein einfacherer Weg zu schönen Nägeln. 💅
Wir haben drei gemacht, weil keine zwei Wochen gleich aussehen.
PLAY ist die unkomplizierte Variante: mindestens drei Tage Farbe für Festivals, Events und spontane Pläne (mit unserem Top Coat noch länger). Ein Look für den Moment, nicht für den Monat. Perfekt, wenn du Wraps noch nie ausprobiert hast – oder wenn du es dir oft anders überlegst (kein Urteil, geht uns gleich). ✨
STAY trägt dich durch eine normale Woche. Der Gel-Look mit echtem Glanz und sauberen Linien, ganz ohne Lampe und ohne Termin. Sonntagabend gemacht, Samstagnacht immer noch tadellos.
POWER ist für Hände, die viel zu tun haben. Bis zu zwei Wochen, die Kochen, Tippen, Packen und das Ganze morgen nochmal mitmachen. Einmal machen, dann vergessen. 💪

PLAY is the low-stakes, at least three days of colour for festivals, events and last-minute plans (even longer if you apply our top coat). A look for the moment, not the month. Perfect if you've never tried wraps before, or if you change your mind often (no judgement, same). ✨
STAY carries a normal week. The gel look, proper shine, clean lines, without the lamp or the appointment. Do them Sunday evening, still looking put together on Saturday night.
POWER is made for busy hands. Up to two weeks that keep up with cooking, typing, packing and doing it all again tomorrow. Do your nails once, then forget about them. 💪
